Easy hiking and wonderful for anyone with any skill level. I gave it a 3 because it seemed a little too easy for my personal taste and too close to the road. there was a spot that had some lovely wildflowers growing and a prime spot for taking pictures. I would do this one again if I needed something quick and easy and still get some nature in.

Really enjoyed our hike! Very easy and nice views. Not a lot of shade but enough for us to cool down when needed

Very pretty hike, not difficult at all . The trail was hit or miss in spots but if you stay close to the river you’ll be fine.

Pretty hike. Did have to scramble over some fallen trees and rocks at times, but great hike nonetheless.

Cool little trail with great views of Lyman Lake. Lots of uphill with rock-made steps to get your heart beating, well-worn and obvious path. Take the quick side trail down and back to a camping-parking lot, in order to make it a full 2.4 miles approx. my drawing of the trail is totally approximate. See the actual park map in the photos. Trailhead is immediately on the right at the entrance to the park. If you park there, and hike the trail, go to the self-pay box at the camping lot to pay $3 day fee. If you’re actually using the lake and drive in, itks $7 per car. Inside the park are a couple of .5 mile trails including one with pretty cool petroglyphs.

Beautiful creek side trail.

This trail has lots of scenic views and even contained what appeared to be a few bald eagle nests in some of the larger trees. To reach the trailhead simply drive south on 373 through Greer until the road ends. Parking and restrooms can be found at the beginning of the trail. The trail is not clearly marked and there are many alternate paths which can be taken during a hike. This makes the hike moderately difficult as finding a path through the brush can be tricky at times. This hike is very picturesque and the Little Colorado River meandering nearby affords ample opportunity for snapping some spectacular photos.

Great scenery, we were with small kids and was good, but we still didn't go the whole way.

Nice hike to Big Lake Lookout. Only hiked about a mile past the lookout on the trail -- lots of deadfall and snags. I remember this being a beautiful, lushly forested trail about 10 years ago. Encouraging to see all the new growth Aspen and sad to see the devastation from the Wallow Fire.

Some parts very pretty, but most all the trees are burned down!!! :(. Pretty easy hike with a beautiful river at the end.

Hiked the loop in about 3 hours, 30 minutes. For half the trail, you are walking through fire damaged land - lots of baby aspen trees about head height now. Good to see the land recovering but it will be years before it is what it used to be.

The campground is okay, there is a Creek running just behind the fence so there is water at this campsite. The Hiking is beautiful! You can hike in about 4 miles to find a nice campsite with a fire ring. The canyons and ravines offer nice views and possible soaking/wading spots. It's a beautiful place I will go back and do it again.
