it was neat to see but as reviews say it's very commercialized. However the view at top of inspiration point was great.

Gave it a 3 only compared to some of the other great trails in the area. But it’s a pretty area with a lake and some waterfoul. It has some interesting rock formations and distant views of the Garden of the Gods. Great walk and not very steep.

This is fun if you dont hike much but love stairs. Another fun place to take flat earthers

I like to take my kiddo here for long walks.

And easy, touristy place to take out-of- town family. The formations always make for fun pictures

Great trail took my dog with me it wore him plum out. beautiful views. will definitely go again.

Great system within Colorado Springs.

The trail is rated as easy so we thought it would be a good trail to get back into mountain bike riding since moving to the area. The first mile may be easy, but after that, the trail is not for novice mountain bike riders. Lots of loose gravel, switchbacks, and heavy climb on loose gravel. We’d absolutely go back and hike it, but not
bike it.

Nice trail that is easy to follow and keeps you out of the sun. The walk from the parking lot to the trail is a dull way to start/finish a hike. Waterfall is barely more than a trickle right now but was refreshing to cool down. Only saw three others heading to the falls.

Beautiful views and rock formations. This was our first time in this area of Colorado. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and visited here twice in 3 days. We walked/hiked the first time. It was easy and a nice opportunity to get acclimated to the higher elevation. Second time we drove around. Great view of Pike’s Peak can be found at the parking lot near Ridge Road.

Such a fun place to visit. The trails were not too challenging. This was the first hike I’ve done since coming to Colorado a couple days ago. Perfect for those who haven’t quite acclimated yet.

It was an over all easy hike. The stairs were what killed me! But everything beyond that was pretty easy! Awesome views over all

Beautiful picturesque with great photos ops! Fairly easy - mostly paved. Get there early to beat the heat and crowds

Nice easy walk. Not the best area, must be aware of surroundings. But there were a lot of kids and dogs and families. I also really appreciated the monuments and memorials, as well as the bell that chimes songs around noon.

Beautiful little trail. Exposed portions in the summer but beautiful views of CoS. The falls at the end were nice and provided a great place to rest and admire the view.

As far as hikes go, this was super easy and about a quarter of it was on paved walkways. Good leisurely walk to get lots of great photos of the amazing rock formations. I recommend getting there early and heading clockwise to get you through the heavily trafficked areas first before the crowds show up. The latter 3/4 of the route is all easy trail with much less traffic.

Beautiful hike from the Starsmore Visitors Center to Helen Hunt Falls one way. The canyon has nice vistas with red rock canyon walls and a great view overlooking Colorado Springs. Hiked on 5/28/18.

The lower trail is simple and travels by the creek in some shade. The middle section climbs steeply up and down in little shade. It offers spectacular views and cool rock formations. The waterfall is nice, though commercialized as visitors can drive to it. Nice easy trail but definitely heavily populated. We saw at least 10 different people in under a mile. Should be switched from “light” to “heavy”.

It was more walk than a hike. We were stopping and taking photos so frequently. And it was pretty hot as well.

the picture is NOT St.Mary's falls, that pic is the Helen Hunt Falls. either way, St.Marys Falls Trail is a great stop off on the way to summit Mt.Rosa.

Good trail. The last run is not marked well. Very loose rocks and can be precarious on the way down. We got a tweaked ankle on way down. Worth the extra effort to get to the top. Stream running on left of trail most of the way. All in all a good trail but hard if not used to the elevation. Falls at top are at 9100’ Cover photo is wrong!!!!

Peaceful trail only down side it is not very well marked

Beautiful quick hike!

such a great hike

Its very beautiful would definitely go again if in Colorado Springs

Lovely trail with nice views of Colorado Springs on the way up.. a little slippery in a few spots but otherwise the trail is in good condition. (My Garmin measured the elevation at 8998 at the top of the falls)

The direction takes you to the entry point, but you need to follow the signs in Mesa Ave to the free parking where a shuttle will take to the entrance. Tickets are purchased at the entrance - $14.50 per person. If you don’t want to climb the stairs (stair 1 is about 185 step or so and 2nd stair is 204 steps) there an elevator for a price of $2.50. Once you’re at the top of the falls take a hike to Inspiration point to get beautiful views and even see people Zipline.
