It was a great trail, although it was too misty out to see the views, I will come back on a clearer day. Oh, also we had to turn back halfway because we ran into a bear!

A-ma-zing. Even with bad weather (snow today) very well worth the trip. The last part, to Sentinel pass, is quite icy...so watch your step.

As Bryan said, it's do able on a weekday. I got there at 4 PM, got a bit lost by walking around on the wrong side of the road and then made it to the correct trailhead. I was all done by 7:15 and that included a break at the top and a few small breaks coming up

Lovely hike that I was able to do on a weekday. Only person on the path for the entire duration. This is an excellent hike for a first-time solo trip. Not overly challenging but still gets the heart rate up while providing some nice views. 1.5 hours in, 1 hour out.

We did this hike today and it was nothing short of amazing! If you decide to go up to sentinel pass make sure you have proper gear. It is very icy coming back down and if you slip it’s a long way down!

We did this as part of a Loop : parked midway up Moraine lake road at the Paradise Valley parking lot (first we dropped off bicycles at Moraine Lake). We hiked paradise valley to Sentinel Pass, then over the pass and Larch valley to Moraine lake road. Then we biked back to the car. It was about 21km of hiking and 950m elevation but it was just gorgeous! Paradise Valley in particular was breathtaking.

Led Zeppelin wrote a song about this hike i think? The majority of the hike is in the trees with a steady incline. We hit the summit in under 3 hours and roundtrip was under 5; including a beer break and some goofing around at the summit. Great views from the top. We could not find the hot springs. Would do it again to find them. Great echo from the top to practice your goat calls. Baaaahhh.

Sick hike with a bit of everything. Lots of crisscrossing with other paths at start so be sure not to turn down Ribbon Creek or old mine roads, though signage is pretty good. First summit is Olympic Ridge which is just above Nakiska T-Bar, then ridgewalk goes for a quite a while and features a LOTR-esque rock garden. Mt. Allan Summit features stunning views of Mount Lougheed, 3 Sisters, Bow Valley to west and Kananaskis Valley to east. No tricky scrambles. Did this as an out-and-back from the Kananaskis side but would like to complete entire ridge walk from Dead Man's Flats next. Time: 7 3/4 hours.

Wonderful hike. A little tough up the scree path to the Pass, but not too bad and the views at Sentinel Pass are worth it. One of my favorite hikes.

Great hike, for all fitness levels. Did parts of this hike with 3 adults and 6 kids (ages 9-5). Path (exposed tree roots) a little slippery from a light rain, but didn’t make the hike difficult. We went to the lookout and then continued on but took one the paths back rather than the full loop. Geocache on hike. Would come back for sure!!

Though many hike Moose Mt from the top parking spot, it can be hiked from Bragg Creek parking following the gravel road. After about 6-7 km the gravel road that is an access to a pipeline valve facility ends and trails goes up toward Moose Mt. It joins the main trails after about 5 km. The total hike from Bragg Creek parking is about 30 km. We started at 5:30 a.m . and finished at 2:00 p.m. with 3 stops for snack/lunch.
Though I ranked this hike 3 that I wish I could rank 3.5, it is still good to hike. I give 5 stars to trails such as Skoki Loop, Paradise to Giant Steps, ...

Short hike up to the pass, then scramble to the summit, which was a long and exhausting, two step forward one step back climb. The warm spring was a nice detour.

Nice, moderate hike. Not too busy during July! Worth a day trip to Peter Lougheed- you will more than likely see a mountain goat or two! Only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. This hike could easily be tacked on to another day hike while in the park.

Very easy hike- great for a family with small kids!

This trail is well-trafficked and it’s clear why. The views at the top of the pass are absolutely spectacular! Be prepared for changing weather conditions on the way up, as it was sunny when we started, started snowing lightly midway up, and was snowing a bit harder up at the pass. Because of the heavy foot traffic, the trail is easy to follow. The elevation increases quickly at the start and at the end on the switchbacks up to the pass, but the middle of the trail is easy to manage. Overall, incredibly beautiful and well worth the effort!

Missed the turn off that heads up the hill so spent a lot of time bushwhacking. Great views but footing coming down was loose and slippery and very steep. Would not recommend it for children or those prone to vertigo. You need to be in pretty good physical shape. Fun if you’re comfortable with a challenge.

The most beautiful hike of my life from start to finish. Started by doing the short flat lakeside trail around the lake, then up and up all the man switchbacks. It’s a challenging hike for the grade, and takes about an hour to an hour and a half if you’re young and in shape, but well worth your efforts. The view at the top is a perfect scene with the Ten Mountains peaks being a feast for the eyes! I recommend a later hike as the trail clears out and when you get to the bottom the light causes a great reflection of the surrounding mountains on the lake.

Great hike! We did it in the middle of winter and it was fairly slippery. We slid down on our bums the whole way back and it made for some amazing memories ;)

Great hike! Did it with 7 people and 1 dog and it took us 5 hrs. We did stop at the first and fourth lake for about 30 mins each though. Steady incline but has some down parts and flat parts to help break it up. Once you get to the first lake, stay right to get to the second, go right at the second then once you reach the third, stick to the left for a bit of an easier walk through the rocks around the lake. Then follow up behind the last lake to the fourth. 10/10 would do this one again! Lots of pika and we saw a mink as well! Not too many people, and lots of people were fishing in the lakes!

This is on my list of hikes to repeat

One of my all time annual favorites; any weather or any season. Always best counterclockwise.

Such a beautiful hike! Not too hard to get up and such rewarding scenery. It was quite chilly and windy even in the middle of summer so bring a jacket in case. I will definitely be going back on this hike <3

Loved this hike! Great views, decent climb and some nice lakes to enjoy lunch by. There are 4 lakes total so keep trekking to see them all. Our favourite was the last lake, it was nice and quiet. We brought our dog and she loved it. I wouldn't recommend bringing smaller dogs as there are a lot of parts that require stepping over lots of rocks and little paws may get stuck. We saw Pika lots of and a Mink :)

We got a bit lost but there is a nice variety of forest and views of the river from high up. Could hear cows along the way too!

Great place to hike for any age. Make sure you have proper footwear as it is quite rocky - a lady making her way up had fallen and hurt her ankle (hope you are doing ok!) If you go in the late morning/early afternoon it's quite busy all the way up to the waterfall, take a left and follow that trail into a nice open spot with inuksuks and hoodoos, we stayed in that area for half an hour and didn't see many others.

Hiked to Larch Valley. The view of Ten Peaks is well worth the effort. You won't get much solitude because of heavy trail use. Definitely a challenging trail because of the steep grade.

Awesome hike!

Decent hike , not the best view until you’re at the very top. Took around 3 and a half hours with a long break at the top for lunch
