Such great views of surrounding areas of the Colombia River Gorge! Did this a few years back with 2 Cocker Spaniels and they did great besides all the barking!

Still closed as of 11/7/18

An amazing all around hike! Small walk right up to the base of the falls, or a small moderate 2.0 mile loop if you’re interested in hiking the whole trail. On the trail you’ll see a second waterfall and some other beautiful sights! Hiked it on 11/7/2018, and the fall colors were really popping. Loved every bit of it!

Fun out and back with small boulder scramble

It’s full of scrambling once you get in the canyon. Not the best for trail running but I’d do it again if I wanted that type of vibe.

I love it !
It’s the best trail
Trying it again this Thursday

is this trail still closed??

Didn't do the entire trail because we were on a time schedule but the waterfall is gorgeous. Highly suggest.

Perfect hike, not hard just enough and getting to the waterfall was a great experience.

The other best hike in Red Rock! Make sure to go in March or April when the snow melts. It's not a hard trail by any means unless you want to climb up to the pool where the waterfall goes in.

Great elevation gain, took us a while, and we did it in the heat. But the view was so worth it!

Not difficult, but if you want to get better pictures you’ll do a little navigating on slippery rocks. Even then, it’s not bad. Views are spectacular, of course.

So beautiful!

An amazing spot with so many different routes you can truly explore the marshes of Florida and even get close to Tampa Bay waters as they allow you to sit on the coast.

Great trail for all ages. The views are spectacular!

Great easy trails with plenary of scenery!! Beautiful blue river teaming with wildlife! I take my kids here all the time, make sure you stay on the trail as the poison ivy was pretty thick. Also pack the bug spray to keep the mosquitoes and sand fleas away and always check yourself for ticks! The play ground, pool, canoe rentals and general store at the center of the park makes for a fun destination for the kids.

Decided to walk Quiet Waters Park trail today, Columbus Day 2018. I'm extremely happy I did this trail. It has long stretches of shaded trail, and breathtaking views of the South River and Chesapeake Bay. I can't wait to bring the family back, so we can experience the trail together.

Beautiful hike and views!

Well marked and maintained trails. Multiple trails to choose from based on your experience. The green trails are easy enough for any beginner, and the blue and black trails are fun and challenging.

great short trail to the top and bottom of the falls. three kids and myself enjoyed this very much.

One of the most beautiful, peaceful hikes I've been on in awhile . Fall colors were amazing. Trailhead can be a little tricky to find, small sign. Trailhead does split off in a few areas but easy to figure out. The lake was beautiful, but extremely cold for September! Past two people the whole hike.

It was beautiful and refreshing standing on the back of the fall!!!

Upper section not too crowded (Friday 9/14/18 afternoon). Some road/traffic noise along lower section. Beautiful forested area. Decent elevation change with some switchbacks.

Bridge is out for repair. Only a small portion is open.

Hiked on 9/8. The upper falls loop wasn’t too crowded—but lower falls looked a lot busier. Gorgeous views all around due to a dry and sunny day. Couldn’t have asked for a better morning hike to start the day.

two waterfalls in one hike. nice!

had a great time walking this Trail, ended up doing the loop twice because of the incline and sheer magnitude of the view you get both at the top of the falls and lower Falls. Highly recommend

Highly reccomend stable shoes. Took my dog on this hike and had a blast but the trail is not flat. I didn't have too much trouble but when I wasn't paying attention to my feet I rolled my ankle over a few times. Definitely my bad for wearing running shoes. Not very difficult, but I would have to say going down on the last treck was the more difficult part for me with my dog. He's still learning trail etiquette.

Very green, beautiful falls even in March.

Great loop hike! But it wasn’t 2 miles. More like 4.4 which was great! Rocky terrain, shoes with good soles are recommended. From the lower park, take the left hand trail at the Y. It will take you to the lower falls within about a mile. Keep going and eventually you will reach the upper falls ~2 miles. Then loop back down on the other side of the stream. Moderate only because of the terrain. The elevation gain was about 1000 ft. Great on a beautiful day. You can walk behind both falls. Please be kind though, and pack in pack out. This is a very tourist-y spot.
