Did the hike counter-clockwise, started at 1000 with about 40• F outer temp. Beautiful hike; the last 1/4 was perfectly timed for early afternoon.

Went off the trail somewhere in the first half mile; this app got me back quickly and easily. When I do this hike again I’ll post where the missing marker is (or just fix it lol).

Beautiful trail, great views

used to hike this trail in college all the time. it's one of my favorites in AZ.

A favorite spot of mine, very beautiful and lots of wildlife

Hiked Granite Mtn to Little Granite Mtn this morning/afternoon with a friend and our dogs. The trail was well maintained (clean, free of waste and garbage) but difficult to find at times... The washes look very similar and we wound up getting lost a few times. It should have been about 6.5 miles round-trip, we finished at 9.3. Beautiful hike regardless through barren rocky landscape and forest. No wildlife and no other hikers seen today. The weather was beautiful and skies were clear. Remember to pack sun screen and plenty of water!

There are nice views from this trail, however noise from Iron Springs Road and nearby new home construction make it less peaceful than other hikes available in the area.

Constellation loop trail was an enjoyable hike through the granite formations of the dells. There was enough change in grade, trail contour, and view to keep the hike interesting. It took moderate effort to complete the loop.

I love this trail. Great birding and it’s easy to follow with enough friendly foot traffic and cell service so I don’t mind doing it alone.

They are putting in some sort of drainage thing so we could only go about a mile. The birding was really good for the time of day and year we were there. I’d like to return when the construction is finished

Cool trail system in the middle of town though not very expansive.

Awesome trail with great tree coverage. Not for the faint of heart. I did an out and back to steep left side. It was a great hike.

Fantastic trail and not very busy.

This was a great hike!! We went counter clockwise and found the trail could use a little more marking in the first mile. Thanks to All Trails, we got on the right trail. Saw 4 deer, who weren't the least bit afraid of us.

great trail with great views, not very busy at all

Great hike with beautiful scenery!

Nice day hike with great views.

Wonderful, easy hike! Although there are shady areas of the trail, most of it is in the sun. We hiked in the morning while it was still cool so as to avoid the worst of the heat. I would recommend this :)

There are a handful of side trails that cross across the center of the loop, making it possible to cut the trail short if need be. The hike is very easy, good for kids and dogs as well as anyone else. Plenty of places to sit on a rock or a bench.

Half of the loop is within the granite rocks and is a little more steep (although only slightly). Follow the painted white dots on the rocks to stay on the trail. Kids will love rock climbing and exploring along the tall spires. At the highest point, you can look out toward Granite Dells and see Hwy 89. This trail never leaves the sound of the highway, so if you're looking for solitude, this isn't it!

Great hike if you're not looking to exhaust yourself and just want to enjoy nature a bit :)

Great trail! Went on a moderately hot day and took our 16 week old puppy. She loved climbing the rocks and basking in the little shade the trail provides. Bring tons of water!

Completed this trail twice in the last month or so, once in each direction and each time took around 4 hours. Really is a beautiful trail with plenty of wildlife. Saw multiple deer on both hikes. No water sources on the trail, so bring everything you need. Visiting the fire watchtower is worth the extra 10 minutes for the views.

It was really great experience!! Love it

a great hike with wonderful views..wildflowers up top! bring plenty of water!

Did this trail by myself and I’m not generally a solo hiker, although the views made it worth my while. I did the trail in 58 minutes, about 2.1 miles in the outer loops. There are a lot of areas you can just stop, listen, and take the beauty in. Nature really heals the mind, body and soul. Next time I will be doing the inner connecting trails.

This was a two hour hike for our family of 4. We have a 4 year old and a 18 month old. I would not consider this easy, more like moderate. There were small spaces to squeeze through, a lot of foliage, and rock climbing. It was a good workout and made it worth it when we made it to the flume to see the water. On the way back, we went around and were on top of the mountains for a beautiful view.

We hiked up the rt side to the memorial for the Hotshots and back down the rt side of the trail. Fantastic hike !

Did the whole outer loop this morning, clocked in at 1.9 miles. The trail branches out into a few inner trails that connect to the outer loop, I'll have to try those next time. Great hike and awesome views.

Great trail for beginning incline practice
