My Golden and I went on a short and easy hike today. This is a nicely kept trail next to Judge Morris Estate. The mountain bikers we came across seemed to be enjoying the trails as well. Lots of laughs.

Half the trail is closed for hunters. Really inconvenient!

Great Trail! Nice Views of the Bay!

This hike was a nice walk around a marsh. It was very peaceful and my dog loved it. It is not very hilly and I would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely hike around a beautiful marsh full of life. Fall colors and the sun peaking through the canopy made for a nice scenic short hike. Interesting pathways with many large fallen trees. Turn right at the beach and feast your eyes on a great view of the Chesapeake. Well marked trail.

Really nice trail! Take my pups frequently.

Nice trail easy access walked two dogs on leash. Easy to manage with others on trail as well.

Hiked the lighthouse trail(not to the actual lighthouse, that is at the end of the peninsula) which is roughly 2.5 miles. Easy hike, but nothing to write home about. Stay in trail, as hunters abound.

A bit muddy but very scenic and tranquil.

A nice and easy walk to the lighthouse- our dog loved running through the tall grass!

Very easy, all stone road trail. Plenty of deer when I went. Nice views from the lighthouse cliff. Head left when you leave (if you are facing the treeline) through the mowed grass path to a trail leading to a nice, lower view of the water. This trail leads back to the main rocky trail that you come in on. Parking may be scarce depending on when you go (not bad mid September). Nice easy trail that almost anybody could do

Got a heck of a rash going on, presumably from this trail, but not 100% sure (looks like poison ivy). Went through probably 100 spider webs in total. Like others have said, overall the trail was not bad until the end. I could not tell where to go. Water was up high on beach and beach was littered with logs and wood so could not really see a solid direction to go. Made the decision to head down the beach since that seemed the most logical way since that's where the trail began. It is meant to go that way but due to the water and driftwood had to step into some water to get up the rocks to the end of the trail. Runs parallel to a campground with bathhouses (at least that's what they looked like) if you had to use the bathroom, etc. Maybe more difficult when campers are present as you may have to go near someones campsite. Few rather large downed trees still. If you have limited mobility this is something to consider. Large beaver dam in the middle of the marsh. Saw quite a few deer that were happy to stop and stare at me for a minute or two. Mosquitoes were not bad l, just the spiders.

This was my first time to Trap Pond. I am a lifelong Delawarean and when I come to Sussex county I usually stick to the beaches, but I wanted to do something different. This was a nice easy hike around the pond. I wish there had been more views of the water. This seems like a great trail to do some trail running as it is flat and not many roots of rocks in the path. Bring bug spray! Watch out for spider webs across the trail :) all in all a nice day in Southern Delaware.

Trail is not marked and is a sandy service road. Not the worst thing, but wasn't expecting. Redeeming quality was the large forest pines out there.

Great trail for walking my dog. Just check for ticks after you get out of the woods.

Easy hiking but beautiful trail

Huge Wasp nest near slot to pay entry fee. Got a $100 (!) ticket for not paying. Would avoid until they get rid of wasp nest. Money hungry state trying to suck every last penny out of us. And you know that ticket money is not going to making the Park better and getting rid of wasps.

Beautiful trail and fun for bike rides. Went hiking recently with my family and dog and found more than one tick on each of us.

First hike with my 3 and 5yo. They did pretty well. I didn't do the full trail. Kids enjoyed where I could get their water shoes out and they played in a ankle deep stream for about 20 mins. They were also very distracted trying to pet all the dogs we passed.

Amazing views and cool birds and bugs to see!

The fallen logs had been neatly placed off the trail and two people were working on parts of the trail today. They were friendly. This was a nice trail with a lot of variety. My Golden loves it too!

Perfect for first timers!

Great kinda trail for multi age families, very easy and clean and beautiful scenery

Moderate trail, couple nice views.

Very easy trail, nice spot to sit and have a picnic.

Absolutely love this trail! It is my sanity.

Fantastic views and very well marked and maintained trails. Just gorgeous!

Love this little hike with the family and dogs.

Easy level trail. We brought our cat and she had no problems. Would be great for a trail run
