11/11/18 Short trail to Dripping Cave is currently closed. Saw lots of deer, coyotes, and different birds.

Great 2ish hour hike! Incline is a bit steep otw up but the views are definitely pretty! No shade so wear a hat!

Nice tree cover and close to home. Wouldn’t have known about it without the AllTrails app!

Great ride on Sunday afternoon when hikers are done.

Great view.

It was very nice trail. I was impressed with the red rock itself. I had a very nice day.

There's no water today.

This is not an easy trail this is a hike down with many rock and boulders that you will have go to over. Do not attempt to go here with slippers or non-skid tennis shoes. I slipped having to go over rocks.

Otherwise enjoy the scenery and some graffiti.

Nice trails, beautiful views.

Great trail for mountain biking. The climb is nothing too bad and once you hit the decent, you'll thank yourself for deciding to put in the effort at the climb. Very good. Definitely recommend for everyone.

The trail is nice, Maintained with a fantastic view.

Had a great time. Amazing ocean views.

Fun and beautiful! Great for kids too

Hiked this trail down to shoreline, over to the Beachcomber and back. 10.5 Miles. Beautiful views.

Nice walk

Is a nice hike, but you need to watch for bikers

Nice trails. Great views.

Amazing views

Obviously a popular place to go! Quite a few people sharing the trail on the way in but drops off the further you go in and becomes more secluded. 0 shade so make sure to bring proper sun protection. The hike back up through Rattlesnake Trail is the best part. Some "mini scrambling" and cool places to rest for 5 mins and enjoy the view. Not my favorite hike in the area but still worth the outing :).

It was amazing view! We loved this trail and will come back for the ocean view for sure! We hiked 6.2 miles for 2 hours!! Early morning is recommended as there is not much shade or canopy.

Great workout, watch out for flies on the uphill climb. Views are pretty sweet.

A great Sunday afternoon hike with a highlight at the end of the trail!

There were minimal bicyclists and all of them were very cordial as they passed by.

There is lots of shade for overly hot days although it was very mild when we were out there.

The signage for Red Rock Trail really needs to be better...I might have missed it had it not been for the folks in front of us.

My wife was obsessed with all of the woodpeckers we spotted!

Nice out and back. Lots of sand in the bottoms. Bring good hiking boots that repel the sand. Hat with a front and back bill to keep the sun off the neck.

But the Red Rock canyon is a nice treat at the end of the trail. Will upload pics soon.

very easy walk with fantastic scenery, toughest part is finding parking

love this trail, but currently closed due to wildfires.

I love this hike for the following reasons:
1. It close to home - anywhere in south LA County or Orange County.
2. It is near the beach, so great views and bonus of spending part of the day on the beach after the hike.
3. Trails offer a variety so you can get the work-out you desire: short, long or difficult.
4. Choice of 4 campsites if you want to stay overnight.
