A good workout hike uptill the top of the cliff. The waterfall is gorgeous and accessible. I went in the fall and the water was icecold but it was fun to be able to reach to it. Had a great time.

good for time

Too short, too expensive!! Nothing special!!! $12 / person is for my opinion not worth! I think it deserve maybe only Parking fees or $5 / person. I mean there are a lot of FREE amazing and breath taking places. Sad about !

enjoyable hike to the falls. the trail to the top is a workout.

Love love love this little state park! Great hiking, really great trails!

Beautiful property. Terrible customer service. The weirdest hours I’ve ever seen for a park. I’m rating it a 5 because the property is gorgeous & I enjoyed it very much!

awesome trail with great views. not to strenuous until the last climb to the waterfall. worth the climb.

What trail?

Quick hike to get the kids out and into the woods. Followed it up with the Treetop loop so my 2 yr old could see the rehabbing owls, vultures and hawks. She loved it!

Nice short trail

Nice, peaceful trail. Saw a small bear by the parking lot.

Arrived at the trailhead by 8:15 on a Friday morning. I came after several days of heavy rain and definitely had to navigate some muddy spots. But it was well worth it. The river was roaring and the falls were awesome. I didn’t come across anybody until on my way back out. Finished and back to the car by 10:15. I thought this a relatively easy hike until the end where you do see more elevation gain. For anybody hesitant to go on this trail you do come across several falls early on and could definitely turn around sooner and would still be satisfied. Followed it up with a trip to Dukes Creek Falls and then some wine tasting in Helen. Lovely North GA day trip.

Nice hike but more crowded than I would like on a weekend. Mid June and the rhodedendrons were just starting to bloom at the start of the trail. Almost no blooms yet higher up. The mushroom and fungus diversity was spectacular.

great trail for little bigger kids 5+ be prepared for kids to swim in the summer.

Easy simple and beautiful

I loved this trail. I downloaded an All Trails map since so many reviewers said they lost their way and had no issue. This trail has a lot of variety and is perfect part shade and part sun. Lots of boulders, pretty moss, lizards, butterflies and great views. There are a TON of places to camp, especially since you are on the Pinhoti for a lot of it. I did pull a tick off of me and my boyfriend while we were on it and also saw lots of Poison Oak so watch for that. McDill Point was worth it, recorded it with All Trails and clocked it at 7.6 miles. Was super quiet and hardly saw anyone, definitely recommend.

Great trail , wonderful time with family and friends.

We completed this trail 7/23/18. Trail was cool and shaded all the way through. Incline was gradual for the most part until the end when it gets pretty steep. I thought the terrain was quite challenging for a moderate trail. You definitely need to watch your step in some places especially when wet and muddy. There are some great overnight camping areas along the stream. Hiking time for our group was 90 mins in and 90 mins out. We spent about 30 mins hanging around the waterfall at the end enjoying the nice cool water. So 3.5 hours total. Our group consisted of me and my wife, late 40s and our 15-year old daughter and friends ages 15-17. The teens really enjoyed the trail. Good fun overall.

I walk this loop 3-5 times a week primarily early in the morning when it is the least crowded. Stone Mountain is such a beautiful place if you like to run or walk. I have taken so many beautiful sun rise pictures. Just love this special place.❤️

Easy to moderate hike! Loved all the waterfalls. Trail was muddy in certain spots which can cause some slippage. Whole trail was 5 miles. Very cool places to stay overnight. Heavy traffic on this trail. We loved it!

Perfectly shaded and cool, even in the hot summer months. The terrain changes quite a bit, so wear appropriately-treaded shoes, not flippy floppys.

be ready to ascend and descend some extensive trails

Easy, simple, and absolutely lovely

A completely different side of Stone Mountain Park. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the scenery. You might just forget you’re at a park.

gets very Rocky and the trail gets narrow after rain.

Epic!!!! Don’t miss this incredible adventure!!!

Great easy wooded trail in the heart of the city. Easy to get to and fun!

Run here every week. Great trail the bridge over Sally Ward Springs gets super slippery, slow down and be careful.
