Love this easy hike for the kiddos beautiful scenery and close to the hotel for food and picnic spots, great hike in winter, fall or summer

This was a pretty easy hike! In the winter, you can walk right up to the water fall and walk under it which is pretty sweet. It’s not a huge water fall but still pretty! If you’re planning on going before summer, wear water proof shoes of some sort as the ground is quite damp.

We did this to cap the day after other longer hikes, and finished with dinner around the lake. Good spot for that, but don't go out of your way to do this hike only considering the amazing things around. It's nice and easy and flat, so relaxing

It's a great hike, don't get me wrong. But considering the amazing ones around, I give that only 4 stars. The best is to find a way to add it to something else. We did The little and big beehive, Lake agnes, and then this trail through highline trail. Big day, filled with amazing views

Always a great short little hike! Bring spikes if you want to explore up near the falls.

loved it! Some parts are extremely steep, many ways up, you can chose to climb or hike up. on the way back I took a "shortcut" and decided to try and stay on the ridge until far down the trail and climb down part of the rock. I soon realised I bite off more than I could chew so I climbed back up and looked up to find an old native man who told me if I followed the ridge further down there was an easy rock latter to get down which was great and and made it so I can avoid the steep section

Beautiful hike, a little difficult due to going after it snowed.

Just do it!!

Very pretty scenery through woods ending at mountains and a glacier. Had lunch at end and took in the views.

for a newbie hiker it was a bit daunting, we started at 4:30pm and thought we'd have enough time but it started getting dark before we got to the loop at the end. the views were worth it but the amount of snow made it a bit dangerous, the path had been completely snowed over in some parts so it walked alongside some of the bridges instead of on them. beautiful scenery but take care and allow for a lot more time than we did if you're doing this in the winter. like most have said the first 5km was very easy though, basically just a stroll.

We snowshoed along this trail yesterday - the snow is not too deep but they helped on a couple of steeper parts on the back loop. The river walk has a nice view and the view at the top is great. The canyon itself is definitely worth doing - we went counterclockwise up the hill and would recommend going that way.

Such a beautiful short hike in the winter!
Don’t forget to say hi to the trolls!

All 3 different falls are unique and spectacular.

Great hike for kids or a quick trek for adults. Not as much traffic in the winter, which is better for photo opportunities.

A pleasant jaunt up to the frozen falls. Snowshoes may have been overkill, path is well groomed. But splitting off into the woods is always fun with those snowshoes strapped on. Some ice climbers on the falls was cool to watch. Short hike for a quick troll stroll. But don’t forget to pay the Troll Toll.

Absolutely beautiful, even better in person. If you want to avoid crowds, snowshoe up on a February day and I’ll guarantee you solitude. We were definitely the first people back there in a long time, had to break trail. A long slog back but worth every moment.

One of the most annoyingly bumpy trails I’ve ever done, Even with GPS still had to ask locals how to access the trailhead. Not especially scenic until you get to the mill - mostly surrounded very close by trees. Most croweded trail I’ve ever done. Lots of foot traffic. Will not go again, Just had to see it once.

Boy, it was kind of tough to find the trailhead, but thanks to some prior reviews, I was able to ascertain its whereabouts without wasting too much extra time. The trail was covered in snow, although it was packed down significantly with snowmobile tracks. This was an incredibly peaceful hike along the river, with the only sounds being the water moving. I passed not a soul on the trail, and had the Crystal Mill to myself. Things look very nice covered in snow. After a few photographs, some beef jerky and some water, I made my way back to my truck.

Nihahi was my third hike and it was a tough one but boy was the view worth It! I recall it taking us 2.5 hrs give or take. mind you it was a really hot day. I definitely want to do it again only this time go more prepared as we ran out of water going up

Nice little winter hike. I used crampons but could probably do with just some good boots. On a nice day people were pouring in at around noon. Get there early to enjoy the solitude.

must see in when its in full force with the spring melt. easy walking. the drive up is more challenging then the hike lol
