HikingGreat!Muddy

The trail can go from flat and easy at beginning and end, to narrow and winding with multiple creek crossings.

Went anticlockwise. Steepest part was going up the mountain. Luckily, there were lots of switchbacks which eased the intensity a bit. Still tough but overall worth it.

Excellent trail, easy to follow the signs, easy terrain, great view at the viewpoint. Took a friend who is new to hiking and outdoors and she had a really nice first experience.

Visually amazing! Waterfalls galore, beautiful old trees, suspension bridge and a real challenge for us. We clocked 18.48km from bird feed area and back on an Apple Watch. Just under 6 hours so leave early!

Great afternoon walk. Took us 2hours 36mins to complete. We did it anti clockwise but easier if you do it clockwise. Carry enough water (I took 1L) View of dam is spectacular!)

Stunning walk along pristine untouched creeks, freshwater blue crays everywhere. 7 or 8 waterfalls. Loved it.

What trail? Was more like a parkour track. No trail at all you have to jump rocks avoid roots but was fun

Did it anti-clockwise including a steeper section half way. Though we found it better that way instead going down. Clean toilet at thilba thalba camp site. We enjoyed the hike much. Rather 23km than 20km.

HikingGreat!

Well worth the 17.55km although Strava had it at 21km. The waterfalls were stunning and the creek crossings were fun. We walked alongside creek beds and mini waterfalls most of the way. The most challenging part was the uneven track of roots and rocks but this didn’t last the whole trail. Loved this track.

Plenty of water left from the recent rain, made for some spectacular waterfalls. A few tricky creek crossings, but nothing too hard. Saw one snake on the path. Overall fantastic experience!

Great trail easy to follow sign posts by myself went anticlockwise. The hardest part finding the beginning of the trail. When you see the map it’s to the right of it. Looks like a goat track and don’t head up the road and don’t head down the other track Piccabeen it doesn’t link up. Views of the dam are just glorious. Completed in 2h30mins hiking at a decent pace.

It was a big hike for my wife and I as we've only been doing this for a few weeks, but it's so worth doing, the scenary is amazing, so many photo opportunities, in the end it took us 8hrs, but we were stopping for photos quite a bit. And like other have mentioned, prepare to get wet shoes.

Best short walk on the gold coast. I've done it twice with my young kids (5 and 7). Both CW and CCW both in the wet and dry. canyon lookout is the best starting point. Stunning scenery.

Great hike to stretch the legs just off the highway. Took me 2hrs, I only went to Mt Cordeaux and back, but was totally worth the 360 degree view from the top!!

A fantastic spot to go trail walking. The falls are stunning with plenty of water, thanks to the recent rain we received on the Gold Coast. Ensure you take a dip in the water. It’s freezing cold but worth every bit of it. Family friendly walk with some stunning caves and scenery along the trail.

Beautiful easy walk. Great for families. She’s cool up in the mountains so maybe take a light jacket. Lots of running water after the recent rains. Very fresh cool air.

If you are there, it's a must do. It's the best out of the lot there. So many waterfalls, amazing creeks running full strength atm. It's a full blown work out. It was around 21kms and took us around 5.5hrs to do it.
