There was only one trail marked (green) but many of the markers were missing or on the ground. There were tons of brush across the trails making it even more difficult to follow. There were multiple stream crossings, you will get wet feet.

Come here often throughout the year. Always a nice quick peaceful hike with great views.

Nice park with a variety of hilly areas. I thought the trails were clearly marked but I also referred back to the trail map on my phone. I liked the blue trail. I don’t think i’d take small children on the white part of the trial near the bay, as the one side of the trail drops off into the the bay. The only bummer was that there were some heavy industrial machines grinding trees on the other side of the bay and it’s was pretty loud (see photo). I think it was just bad luck that i went on a day where they were working.

Awesome place!

Nice, easy walk with some nice water spots.

As advertised, very easy, but an unbelievably scenic stroll. Some dirt trials so wear boots if raining

I've visited this park twice and it never disappoints. This is a must in the fall!

A nice scenic walk.

It was a relatively flat walk. First part was across a long bridge then into the woods on wood chip covered trails. Nice walk out and back.

Great, easy loop. Very well maintained for walking, running, or snowshoeing. Worth checking out the small falls!

Great trail, fantastic views

Nice fall colors. Waterfall and the creek are a nice spot to take a break. Some road noise from Rt 490 cuts into the solitude. Wide Trail that is well maintained

Beautiful park! I plan on going back when the upper falls construction is completed. The overlooks are gorgeous!

You have a view of the Genesee river through the trees. And at the end of the trail is stairs that go down to be able to see the cascading waterfalls. One of the boards on the stairs is loose. Overall a nice walk. Not a hard walk as described.

Part of the trail was closed for construction, there are a lot of people on the trail and it is very close to the road in places. The waterfall views were great but I typically like less popular hikes.

Nice moderate trail, decent scenery, but it would be nice if people carried out their waste and trash.

Loved our walk in the park.Enough of a challenge with the hills and uneven ground.
Lost track of how to exit but there were enough people around to ask.Would like to visit again.

One of my favorite places to hike locally - that and Abe Lincoln right around the corner. Great little bit of trail system going down to the wet area with some neat streams (people kayak through). A little hilly but that adds to the fun. I recommend this to anyone as there are ways to make it easier or shorter if needed, or enough places to explore around for a few hours.

The views were terrific. We walked on the west side of the loop but the trail was closed for construction when you headed toward the south end. As many others have said here, more of a walk than a hike.

Love this hike! The trails are a little confusing at first, but there is always great wildlife encounter. The park is full of deer, chipmunk, squirrels, plenty of birds, and at the creek I always see turtles and frogs. This is a great hike during the winter too. You can really see the old rifle range with all the leaves gone. Typically, there is very little traffic, which could also be why I like this park so much.

Very buggy. Trails are marked but confusing. Was trying to loop and ended going back out on same trail. Would not do again.

Breathtaking views of the gorge and waterfall. The trails weren't well marked and I ended up circling a bit before getting back to my car. I would definitely go back.

Nice walk, was unable to do the full trail. the southern portion (upper falls) was closed due to construction and the northern part crossing the gorge was also closed. was unfortunate and ruined half the hike for us.
This was not hiking on the west side in my eyes. I think the eastern part seemed more adventurous but oh well.
gorgeous views, definitely worth seeing.

Won't let me give it only 1 star. Didn't hike it. A friend and her niece had their rear windows smashed out in the parking lot. Don't want mine done.

we went here because it was marked dog friendly. unless you have a very independent dog, I would not recommend it. trails were incredibly steep in some spots, and we lost sight of the trail it was so overgrown in others. I'd say this is more meant for hiking and mountain bike riding.

First time coming here, nice trails, not badly marked. Lots of bugs as to be expected some trails were over grown with that said there was a gentleman near the old rifle range clearing brush back from trails with a machete.

Agree with others who have said that this walk is a must during the fall. The colors are bright and crisp with cool mist coming from the falls. Additionally, Columbus Day Weekend there is an annual craft fair that is located within the park. This is not really a hiking trail but rather a well maintained, groomed walking trail along the gorge. Have done about 6 miles every year. It is a little tricky with the southern entrance to the park being closed, but you can still get good views to all the falls with excellent photo ops.

This trail is a must during the Fall. It is absolutely gorgeous during peak season of Fall foliage, but will be swamped with tons of tourists. Everything is accessible and there's no shortage of beautiful photo opportunities - lots of small waterfalls, free flowing water, small animals, and beautiful scenery.

We did part of its trail! It is amazing.
