Once u get into the trail, marking becomes more visible. Def take a pic of their multicolor map w marker numbers. The Taney trail is an adventure but beautiful. You will love this trail. there is a rail for steps and nice pause points. #wineyhiker is on her way to enjoy an uncomplicated crisp Chardonnay...Branson Landing here i come!
Beautiful trail! Marked well once you’re on the actual trail. To find it go to the overlook and head down the stairs. We went wanting to do just the 3.5 but to get to Homestead Trail we had to hike 3 connecting trails. It was a total of 6 miles once we did the whole loop. Some rocky areas, some flat areas. Overall we enjoyed it!
We went in early April, and the wild flowers and trees were beautiful. Great views of the lake and even a few spots where you can get down to the water.
Wonderful trail. Beautiful stream
There are more trails here than shown on Alltrails app, but easy enough to navigate or even switch from red to blue to yellow. we enjoyed the cliffs and caves, beautiful views and lovely weather. Go early to avoid the crowds - you will find yourself in a lovely, peaceful slice of nature right in the heart of Branson. If you go later in the mornings or afternoon, the trail can get quite busy.
Multiple water crossings but it’s no problem if you’re prepared for knee deep water. Beautiful trail.
Trails were not well marked. After going up to the homestead and down the stairs we tried to go out to the cave and catch the blue trail back up but we never found either. We ended up out at a park, after going cliffside all the way, and then had to figure out streets to get back up and around. Our 2 mile hike turned into 6. It was very frustrating after reading and researching and downloading the map. The views were nice though.
Lots of road noise from the highway. Most of the river crossings are unpassable- no bridges except for one at the beginning.
So beautiful such a peaceful trail that will give you one heck of a work out especially if you climb all the stairs but trust me climbing them all is worth it
Had to make the yellow trail an out and back bc the river/creek was too high and wide to cross, water would probably have been mid thigh. Would have had to cross twice to do the full loop. But it was still a great trail up to that point.
Great trail ! Well marked !
Great trail. Very clean. Well maintained. Took our dog on a gorgeous 60 degree morning. The caves are very cool and go deeper than you’d imagine. The streams on the back side of “best trail ever” are very calming to stop and listen to. Unfortunately app closed and I lost the first mile of the recording. Great walk.
Great trail with a variety of views! Definitely more than 5.5 miles if you do all the loops though.
Nice trail with lots to see. Work to hike the full loop and you’ll be rewarded.
Beautiful!!
Awesome day out
