It’s a quick jaunt. Still a little muddy and slick in some places.

Great views! Very doable hike- plenty of switchbacks!

Pretty steep trail and very muddy which made it slippery.

Had my first encounter with a black bear on this trail!

It was a nice, relaxing hike with the family. Great views with a blue sky at the end!

Great day for the hike! We wore our crampons, it helped with the switch backs, but once you get past the 1st mile it flattens out and you get to enjoy a nice view all the way to the look.

Awesome views. Have done trails between Brighton and solitude, donut falls and this one. Definitely an awesome workout with great reward

Did this as a giant loop of the ridge line around Brighton. The views from the top can hardly be beat. It’s hard to climb a peak in the northern Wasatch and not just see SLC or Heber/Midway from the top, so it was nice to climb a mountain and just see more mountains and lakes. Did this the first week of July and there was some snow but nothing unmanageable

Still muddy. Gorgeous view. I expected natural rock formations as the furniture but it’s stacks of rocks in the form of chairs. A bit steep. Definitely a moderate trail.

trail is dry now. 2.14.18

Beautiful scenery. Steep in the beginning and evens out after the first mile.

So good! Awesome view and “seating” at the “living room”!!!

We went on a sunset hike here tonight. The first 50 yards or so was a sheet of ice, and the rest just had some really muddy spots. Views along the ridge line were beautiful.

Great morning hike. Somewhat muddy and slick this time of year.

Easily one of my favorite hikes. It doesn’t take a long time to get there, it’s not too hard, there are lots of places to hammock when you get there, and the lake is so beautiful and clear! I love going up there to relax and enjoy the pretty view :)

Almost no ice or snow left right now and it's been perfect weather for hiking

Plenty of spider trails, choose wisely!

It was an awesome hike. Still has some deep snow in different areas of the hike so it forces you to keep focused on your footing. Bring water and snacks and it makes for a great hike. I'm sure it's beautiful from spring to fall.

Short hike, very steep at first. Great view at the end. I went a couple of weeks ago and it was super muddy from the snow melting.

10/10, very muddy but the veiws (and fresh air) are totally worth it

Super muddy and slick today! More mud and snow than dirt. I wore Solomon hiking shoes and was fine, but regular sneakers will be soaking wet by the time your done. Gorgeous hike! Good workout.

Awesome hike with a great views and scenery.

Most difficult part was the beginning and then it flattens out as you get to the overlook of the city. Overall, it was a decent hike with some pretty good scenery of the the mountains and city.

Beautiful. It's more of a moderate trail than a hard one. It is beautuful, irregardless.

Great pay off at the end. Need crampons/microspikes.

Nice views. Can also be hiked from Brighton

Just a little icy the first 100 yards then muddy/dry the rest of the way.

Tough hike but great view of both valleys.

Great fun trail. A must do with a group. When we got there, the road was closed, so that added another mile to the hike. The hike was very muddy, but very fun. Make sure you use the app to know where you are. There are diverging trails and we got lost and had to backtrack on one of them. The view is amazing. Hardly anyone was on the trail besides us.
