Nothing short of amazing. I have done this hike four times this year but the winter brings a whole new beauty to this hike. Waterfall is mostly frozen. Beautiful take your camera.

One of my favorite trails I’ve ever hiked!! Love the river that’s right next to you and the scenery is amazing!! Definitely a must do!!

Cut the last portion of the trail in. Snow is about 2 feet deep in the last section

The trail was well defined, serene, and quiet. I recommend, some water, a snack, spikes, and snowshoes. Worth the views!!

I just did this hike about a week ago. The snow makes it a little bit more challenging, but that’s the fun of it. It’s a short but steep hike so you feel like you’re still getting a good workout, and the views on the way up are amazing.

Beautiful hike at the end of November (11/30/18). Heavy snow kept us from attempting the last quarter mile but I was playing it safe with my girlfriend. It's doable but slick. Really enjoyed the canopied hiking and rushing creek.

Our first hike in the area! Waterfall Canyon did not dissappoint. There is snow on the ground pretty much the last half mile which adds to the difficulty although it's still an easy enough hike. Falls are frozen pretty good at this point and make for great photos. Thank you to the property owners who let the public on their lands.

A real hidden gem, did this last week, got a little snow. I could see where the vegetation could block the views, but in the fall it was beautiful.

A little scratchy but a nice trail

Great hike short but sweet

I really enjoyed this hike and am looking forward to returning when I have more time and can complete it. Looks like it would be a great hike in the heat of summer as it is quite shaded.

absolutely gorgeous. after a set of switch backs, you follow a stream all the way up to the falls which offers a nice tranquil sound for the entire hike. You also see some amazing views of the mountains throughout. The hike is fairly challenging in a few places! younger children probably wouldn't be the best to bring here, but older kids would be okay. One of the best hikes I've done!

Amazing views all the way up. Missed peak fall by a week. Trail wasn’t marked very well but it looked like all variations lead to the same point. Phone was at 1% couldn’t record down.

I’ve gotta say it, this trail is terrible. I’m new to the area and decided to try it based on all the good reviews. I parked at Farmington Pond and started the trail from there. Within a half mile or so there were so many forks and side trails, with no signs, that I never knew if I was on the right one. I followed one trail when it forked and had to back track when I saw it was headed north. I took the less obvious trail that followed the creek (thought that was a good clue) and that was very steep, very narrow and very hard to stay on. There were parts where the trail had been swept away from rock slides. After about 1.5 miles I could see it wasn’t improving and I turned around. Some locals told me I was on the right trail but I would not recommend this to anyone. Park up on the road and take the Farmington Canyon trail instead.

Great trail to take a dog on. I love being in the trees, shade and fall leaves.

My favorite trail so far for Autumn colors, I went with my friend on Sunday. Very friendly trail as well enjoyed seeing everyone out with their dogs and children. Everyone greeted one another and said good morning.

What a great hike! We saw 5 wrecked cars along the way. (One was just a chassis) The colors were beautiful. The kids loved it. Waterfalls, rocks to climb and wonderful scenery!

Very steep. Very cool but short

First time to Ogden. We wanted to see a little bit of autumn since we live in the Vegas desert. We did this hike with my 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son. We loved it! Beautiful foliage and the 2nd half of the trail was covered in marigold colored leaves and red leaves. The last stretch what some what difficult for the 5 year old given the steepness and all of the rocks but he made it to the top. Great trail for dogs. Can’t wait to come back and bring your husky.

Beautiful creekside trail especially in the fall. It is moderately challenging if you are not in shape. I personally love this hike and repeat it quite often.

Nice quick hike trail. I had my two dogs but the trail is pretty skinny at some parts so we kept moving out of people's way. Trail is moderately flat for the beginning then goes up a bit then down again. The climb back up isn't terrible and the bottom by the stream is beautiful. Was there a few weeks ago and there was still a solid amount of fish (most alive but some where dead as it's getting to the end of the season). Lots of people at the bottom but you can keep hiking down to find more solitude.

Beautiful hike. Steep but manageable. I wouldn't rate this as a hard peak but take your time. Mostly shaded so it went from chilly to warm as you got into the sun. Did this last Sunday and it was a nice 70 outside. Gorgeous views of the valley and take your time at the top to enjoy. Your hard work will pay off!

We love this trail. But about three weeks ago my dog got suddenly sick and passed away after hiking in the same spot on this trail two days in a row. I am wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

Moderately steep! A nice upper glute burner through a cool ponderosa pine forest with long traverses. A very nice trail run/hike. There's a stream with a gradual water fall on the shared trail with Taylor's Canyon. After crossing the second bridge the trail continues to the right. It's a bit steep at first but the grade becomes less severe the rest of the way up. There is butte with a view a third of the way up. At the rocky top peak or butte is exposed with great views of the valley below and Mount Ogden behind. The descent had a few rocky turns, but it wasn't bad. Just watch your step.
