Great trail! Perfect for families with little ones - was only ~ 2 miles - 1 there and 1 back so was perfect for them! They loved it !!

This trail is awesome. Its super easy and well shaded. If you're looking for more of an adventure continue on past the sign at the end and scramble up the rocks for a fantastic view - my group didnt go too far up but it looks like you can continue on for a while and get as sketchy as you want.

Easy trail with fun surprises. half way through the hike is a path to an arch with a rock fort underneath. keep going past the rock fort to find a path to get on top of the arch, the path to the top is a little tough.

This is a great hike to camp 1/2 way at Roaring Winds. Three spots available. End up at Deer Park for camping, relaxation and wait to get picked up.

Sunrise hike here is amazing!

Beautiful waterfall, but this is not a actual trail. The falls are right off the road. Parking and bathroom facilities available.

It’s been snowing all week and the full hike (from beginning of Denny Creek rd) was just beautiful. The falls were half way frozen and it was great to experience. I went alone so it was nice to see a decent amount of people there.

Hiked to Lake 22 on Saturday and the parking lot was full and slightly icy. Had to park across the street in the entrance of the second lot, as that was completely covered in snow and a car got stuck trying to go in. The hike is really pretty easy, definitely icy and lots of snow. The lake is starting to thaw and there was a high avalanche warning, but it seemed safe to me. Super beautiful!

Took my older parents, they loved it. A beautiful, easy walk. I continued on past the maintained trail. You can climb up along a cliff line and it does not disappoint. The view is spectacular, you can even see Bell Rock in the distance.

Roads were closed on both sides. Ended up hiking a total of 8 gorgeous miles today. The wagon trail is not open, don't take that as a loop back as one of the signs suggests... you'll end up walking through very deep snow. TAKE ICE CLEATS! The whole main trail is compacted snow and ice. One hiker slid down the hill at the falls today but was able to get back up. The trail right at the water fall is steep and icy, be extremely cautious. GORGEOUS hike though!!!

We got there right at 7 am so very little traffic. Very pretty. Ended up doing the bell rock climb at the end. Gorgeous. Well marked trail

Not a hike, but pretty waterfall. It didn’t feel as spectacular as Marymere falls.

Love the lake, the view it’s amazing

The scamper at the end of the trail makes this nice easy trek a five star for any age.

Nice easy trail, some of the best views in Sedona if you climb up the broken arch at the end of the trail, you won't regret it!

Provides fantastic views of the butte from all sides. Combine with the Bell Rock trail for a photographers dream.

trail running

I ran this trail in the evening and there was a pretty good crowd but everyone was very gracious in letting me get by. It was a challenging run but nothing too crazy. The payoff at the top is worth the burn, such a gorgeous scene!

Beautiful trail. The small climb up at the end provided the most beautiful view

Hiked up to the lake today, the parking lot was full, very snowy and hard to drive up to. Recommend a 4WD vehicle. We watched a Subaru Outback spin and have to be be pushed out of the parking lot. The hike was moderate and completely covered in snow. Micro spikes weren’t needed, but were helpful on the way down. There were lots of dogs and friendly people on the trail. We didn’t have too much visability but it was still beautiful! A good calf workout :)

Hiked from Exit 47 at road closure. 7 miles RT. Approximately 5 miles of it is walking on the closed road that runs beside I90. Road was compact snow with some deep snow areas but there was an area worn down in the deeper snow areas. I wore microspikes and would recommend them. It was a beautiful day and I was pleasantly surprised to have the falls to myself. The falls are not completely frozen but the surrounded by beautiful ice.

Great Trail, beautiful views!

Road remains closed so expect the 7.1 mile round trip walk in the woods. Started early in the morning and the road was icy with plenty of grooves from snowmobile tracks. Microspikes will serve you well and some warm boots. Snowshoes are not necessary, though if you want to carry them for weight, go for it. Trail is easy to find and has compact snow to lead you to the falls. The falls was flowing and plenty of icicles to add depth to the photos. This morning was not slushy and the ice looks like it’ll stay. Dress warm, gloves hats, you name it because it definitely is chilly by the falls. We passed 64 people and about 30 cars parked on the sides on the way back. Make sure to do the hike early (before 8-9AM) especially on weekends to beat crowds and get photos you want.

Very easy hike with great views especially
If you pass the maintained trail sign and continue on. I would say it’s a good hike to bring the family on. Lots of foot traffic. Big parking area.

More of a swim than a hike. Lots of character! Wear wool socks.

Wonderful hike up to the lake with the dog. Few inches of fresh snow. Lots of water along the trail.

My wife and I loved this trail. We started at Bell Rock TH and took the Big Park Loop (counterclockwise) around to the Court House Butte. We were on the edge of the wilderness and the scenery was beautiful. Moderate. Not many people & no bikes. Total 7 miles

The hike is worth it. The falls are amazing.
