Nice easy trail to follow.....TRAIL closed when you reach the turn to go to the dripping cave due to regrowth from fire. So unable to finish the last .4 miles. Tons of rabbits and a nice cool creek to splash your face if you get hot

Short hike in and amongst a pretty urbanized area. Saw a few pelicans and various birds. There are no signs but plenty of ways to loop around where you came from. Flat the whole way and pretty dense with weeds and bush. Cool for an hour or so, but not going to blow your mind :).

No hiking gear necessary except for maybe some water. This is really more of a running trail for locals but in our hot California summers, the ocean breeze and views are stellar. No shade, so bring a hat and sunscreen. It’s easy and flat, perfect for a before lunch walk. Recommended for all ages who enjoy the urban outdoors. This is a highly populated upscale area so the relative seclusion, even on a weekend, was a plus.

loved this hike, is a great start for beginners

Good place for a morning walk. Follow Google maps, the signs inside are not very helpful

Great trail for a beginner trail runner. Nice shade and scenery and not too hilly.

Is there a lake in the area?

I do this hike to get some time in and for fitness. Have been a witness to Osprey, Kite and Harriers. As well as the Coyotes and other residents.
Not a difficult loop, but not always looking for difficult...sometimes you just need to get out and Get some dirt under your feet.

Lovely trail not hard at all

took my wife and kids. our dog had fun fresh air great scenery

a bit short and too close to the city but the scenery is amazing if you like creeks and rivers.

You can no longer go to cave. Nice clean beach

Nice little hike, I just did it going down and I really like it, found a couple creeks, and wild life.

Arrived later in the afternoon so didn't have enough time to go far on the trail, but at least got an idea of the surroundings. Trail had a lot of canopy on either side with some wildlife. Decent view of some of the homes on surrounding canyons. Moderately easy trail that would be ideal for a beginner level mountain bike. Will return on another time to explore the trail further.

Enjoyable, easy walk with great views.

Easy trail for all fitness levels. Very enjoyable for runners and bikers as well. You'll find squirrels, birds, and lizards as well as plenty of wild flowers running along the trails.

The Buck Gully Trail leading to the Bobcat trail was very cool. The gully was very green with a small river and we saw some bunnies. Also some very pretty flowers. The hike to the top of the bobcat trail was steep but the view at the top was pretty nice.

Free so I can’t complain. Some elevated portions, overall easy

Saw a lot of animals, mostly bunnies. Great easy relaxing hike. I recommend this if you enjoy wildlife

Trail was easy enough to hike. There were some uphills that made for a nice workout, but the very end of the trail led was a little disappointing. We hiked up a steep hill to the very top to be greeted by a view of houses and not much else. The bridges, creeks and trees on the way were nice though. Lots of shade.

This was a great little hike. I would have given it five stars but I still could see houses the whole time. Some shade and lots of mountain bikes!

Such a beautiful trail to the pier.

Too crowded even on a weekday afternoon. Too many bikers and people playing loud music while you’re walking, scaring off all wildlife. Not to mention. Due to the fires, only the outside area is open, causing you to hear a ton of traffic while you’re at it. Big nature lover, but between everything, you just feel like you’re waking along a street and there happens to be some nature nearby.

Extremely busy path, but the views can't be beat.

Perfect for getting into reality with a toddler and a stroller. Mellow, beautiful, relaxing. Kiddo loves the bunnies and duckies at dusk. Coming back for the cave...

This is a great place for bringing family to do leisurely walks or biking. Beautiful views, especially as sunset approaches. Paved road located in center of this valley for biking/jogging/walking with houses scattered all along the tops of the hills. More of a weekend location to take the kids for leisurely fun than for hiking.

This place sucks. It’s confusing as hell. I ended up parking in a neighborhood and just run the street. Don’t recommend

What a great trail! Great views!
