My favorite place for morning cardio! The Bradament trail is my favorite quick cardio route.

Trail is easy to follow, but long pants and sleeves are necessary due to overgrown trail conditions. Not a good walk for dogs due to risk of tick bites.

Awesome trail if you’re just looking for a short adventure! Not many trail markers, if any but if just keep some sense of awareness of where you are, you’ll be fine! The several bridges you’ll cross are kept up on pretty well.

Nice, but not fantastic

This isn’t an official trail but a random collection of different trails in the park so nothing is marked but it’s not terribly difficult to follow. Tracked it at 5.5 miles in 2 hrs.

Great for families

The main trail by the river is nice and mostly flat. Nice scenery and easy. Rock Furnace trail is steeper and harder for biking but is very pretty. There are many mountain biking trails around the park that have really nice views from up on the hillside.

My husband and I have been trying different rail trails this summer. We are new to biking and so far this was on the top of the list. It's not difficult, it's shady and scenic. We're glad we tried it and will return.

Very nice trail. Biked from Freeport to Butler for about 10 miles and then back. Trail is a little rough on the bike and has done rain wash out damage. Overall a lovely, clean and well maintained trail.

Low traffic and slippery routes. A good cardio for the weekend.

This is an easy trail from the trailhead to the waterfall. I've biked this several times. If you branch off to the Rock Furnace trail, it is a bit more challenging but both are beautiful.

Modified the loop here a little on our way down when we saw some switch backs and thought "eh why not." Kind of treacherous with little ones. The footing is all shale and can be quite slippy but if you take your time, you'll be fine. Went when the leaves were bare and aside from the lower part of the trail it wasn't the most exciting hike, but nice for being right in the middle of the city.

A beautiful trail with a nice babbling creek running through the middle. A joy in every season to help you forget that you are in the city.

infested with ticks! old tires and garbage littered everywhere.

It’s a nice trail, saw some wildlife while we were out. Overall it’s a bit busy in the surrounding area but hardly anyone was on the trail. The markers do indeed get a bit confusing to follow. The vistas weren’t as impressive as most people said and there really isn’t too much to see besides woods. Well maintained though, not great, not terrible overall.

A nice trail in an urban park. Some parts are surprisingly secluded from the city. However, the trail is very confusing and could use more signs for navigation.

ride here regularly have to connect loops butit is pretty well marked with new signs and blazes. not as crowded like north park

The trail is not difficult to follow if you have a map or use the ap. The trail turns right once you hit the telephone lines. The trail was in good condition with only a few really muddy spots. Not many people on the trail due to the cold weather.

Short hike. Lovely fall leaves all around. As we are new to following trail markers we weren't sure if we were to follow the yellow, green, or U shapes on the trees (we believe it's the U shape). Though it felt a little urban it was quiet and serene, possibly due to the colder temperatures. One or two vistas as well.

Very pretty and stroller friendly trail. It's long but it's easy so it's great for small children to do sections of it.

Love this trail..Wish the poop plant wasn't along the trail though haha

Nice park. Trails are well kept. Lots of dogs enjoying the outdoors. The trails can get confusing though and what I thought was gong to be a couple miles of hiking ended up being 8 miles and thee hours.

love the trail. Make sure to download a map before the start of your hike. there's a lot interlinking trails which could be a bit confusing. I come here with my boxador and make a pit stop at the dog park.

This is not a hard trail, and its really not a loop either. Although it was a beautiful well kept place, it was a let down, expecting a good challenge and finding only another rails to trails.

Great time with our chocolate lab, Winston. Next time we will challenge ourselves a little more. One warning, bikers were a little aggressive on the narrower parts, not sure I'd wear earbuds and not be able to hear them.
