on Paradise Falls Trail

This is great for a quick hike/trail run. Especially if you take the longer trail.

Just Beautiful!!

I take all of my out of town guests here! It’s more of a walk than a hike if you start at the top. I usually park at the beach and climb up the hill to the “hike.” Every time I’ve been there’s seals sleeping on the rocks, it’s right before you reach the wooden bench lookout spot, if you’re walking away from Pt Dume Beach. If we can’t decide where to go for the weekend, we end up here. Stellar views!

Great views and decent workout, but nothing bad. Leave time for soaking in the views at the top!

The north side of Topanga Park is great, but these caves are trash, covered in bad graffiti, garbage and beer cans everywhere, not kid friendly.

Too many people

Had a great time! Made a quick edit of the hike.

Great trail with amazing view most especially at the peak. Definitely one of my favorite trails.

Great hike and the views are incredible. Definitely check the wind conditions before you drive out here. The wind was very strong while we hiked, which was okay for us adults but would have been too strong for kids.

views are spectacular

Very crowded on a Sunday morning, which was to be expected for such a nice trail that wasn’t too difficult and you are rewarded with the waterfall at the bottom!

Rather easy , even for an active senior..

Great views, clean trail.

This trail is beautiful. Last year the waterfalls were running strong. There are a lot of options on this trail to hike at different levels. We enjoyed it very much

Fun trail, but heavily trafficked.

Needed very map directions for second waterfall .

Good trail but seeing where the second waterfall is. Any advice ?

Once we got the the end of the trail, people seemed disappointed all the water was dried up and turned around. A friend and decided to keep going and you can go way back up behind the waterfall. Just be careful there are some nasty spills if you have to question it don’t do it.

Great hike, trail is well marked and we'll maintained; there is also a water fountain for drinking water near a shaded area. However, very crowded at times and you cant jump in the water due to contamination. Beware of rattle snakes. on the plus side there are a few tables for lunch near the falls.

Easy walk/hike and seriously the most GORGEOUS view!

Too many people not enough parking. Park on PHC. Seriously, so many people on this hike! You hike through a neighborhood before you get to the trailhead. The people driving in the neighborhood seem to resent the hikers (they drive fast and honk horns). When we get on the trail there is a bunch of horse droppings, like a lot. we got to the first falls but the only water that was there was stagnant and stinky. We climbed up a very sketchy trail that was falling apart with each step. Very loose dirt. BE CAREFUL! The second fall had a little more water but still nothing to write home about. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this hike to anyone. Head to Angeles National Forest.

Easy climb to the picturesque peak of Point Dume. Great for a quick and casual walk through sandy trails. Usually comes with a great offshore breeze with a view of Sea Lions and Dolphins. Parking is rough. You might actually hike longer to getting to the hike, than the actual 1.2 mile trail. But, you’ll likely be able to find a great spot on the sandstone outcropping and remember why you went through the trouble in the first place. It’s also a great hike for the kiddos.

Nice regional hiking park with modestly improved trails and some educational facilities. Several access roads allow nearly direct insertion to several points in park. Sewage treatment plant is located about 3/4 mile downstream of Paradise Falls. A lot of elevation change so I would rate this one as moderate. Be in good health when attempting!

Cool hike, interest little waterfall. We had a great time.

Great trail Santa Rose to T.O n back

Great hike beautiful water falls, we did 6 miles from Santa Roses to T.O, and back very enjoyable a must hike

It was a great short hike. took me about 2 hours ( with a long stop when I got to the top).
