Very enjoyable loved this park

Great trail for the whole family and dog friendly. Some moderate terrain to keep it interesting. Great scenery!

Very nice trails, views & fellow hikers.

Only did a small section to start. Beautiful, relatively quiet. looking forward to going back. Will bring my walking poles next time.

Basically a bike/ walking path. Not much scenery. A few deer. Smooth asphalt path.

The route outlined here is kind of a weird route, having you walk on the side of the road for a spell, on the beach, on the bike path, and on the dune hiking trail. Bike path, dune, and beach are good.

best trails in the area. we did an 8 mile hike today. nothing to changing but good exercise

This park is a great place if you go at the right time of the year. Mid-fall to late spring is the best time to go. Summer months are brutal with bugs and ticks. You can spend hours on all the trails observing wildlife. You are far enough off the road that nature is all you hear. Being local I take my dog there a lot in the off season

Walked the paved loop. I really liked it. Nice open fields most of the way, little bit of boardwalk, tiny bit in the woods, tiny bit by the lake. The long stretch along E Main street was kinda lame, but the other half of the trail was very enjoyable. It could've also been that I was out on a perfect fall day and that made me like the walk more than I otherwise would.

Beautiful trail! Too many bikes on the trail the day we were there. Hard to relax for fear of bikes coming up behind us.

Love it. Lots of choices, all abilities, Beautiful, serene. Dog and bike friendly.

I’ve been coming here for years! It’s one of my favorite places to run. A measured 5 mile loop with plenty of scenic waterfront nooks to catch your breath if needed. Keep your eyes peeled, there are usually cats - and sometimes chickens running around here!

Very nice trail! Not good for road biking due to big rocks mountain bike is better!!

A kinda confusing spiderweb of trails, so make sure you take a map for navigation. No views or nothing, but relatively wide trails and far fewer people on a Saturday morning than Hartshorne Woods. Mostly flat with a few gentle grades.

The entrance was nice but that didn't last long. Once we reached the bogs we were attacked by horse flies even with deep woods bug repellent. They didn't seem to leave us alone, so we had to leave early. The scenery was also ruined by boats and homes all around the park with noise pollution throughout. Not to place to go if you want to experience nature, the worst trail I've been to.

It's an ok trail for hiking, great for mountain biking.

It’s an easy trail but a good 5 miles walk. Many chances to stop and take few good pictures. Benches on the trail helps to spend some time inside the quiet forest area. Will be back again.

Great for biking!!

Pretty well-shaded for the most part. Wide easy trails.

Nice path, no climb or incline. Great to bring the dogs, lots of wildlife and scenery.

Multiple trails. Lots of options.

went Friday July 20 around 6pm. the weather was perfect and the bugs we're not bad at all. we made it to the beach from the parking lot which is about a mile, the walk there I always find is harder than the walk back. it's worth it to me I let my dogs walk on the beach and go in the water it's a beautiful area. buts didn't start to get bad until around 7;30 pm when we were almost back to the parking lot the bugs got bad. I love this place I take my friends, family, and dogs here whenever I get the chance

Great, easy hike. You can walk through wetlands woods and a sandy beach in a short time. There’s a wide variety of trees and birds. I read that there’s a lot of ticks in this area but we stayed on the main path (which is rather wide and clear) and had no ticks.

A pleasant walk through the woods in Cheesequake state park. Most of the trail is well marked and in good shape. There are a few sections that go through low-lying wet/muddy areas that are not well cared for, e.g., logs on the wet ground in lieu of boards. Some scenic views of the surrounding marshlands but not spectacular.

Nice hike, well maintained trails. The loop is 3.5 miles, not 3. Also, since it's a weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there was a $10 entrance fee. Overall it was enjoyable! Not really any spectacular views along the trail but it was still pretty.

Really super nice trail. Maybe a little ambitious for a newbie like me, but well worth the effort. Someone mentioned a lot of sun. That was not my experience. There were small pockets, but even without sunscreen totally manageable. Really lovely views of the water from the trail.

Starting to hike again and this trail was great to kind of get my feet wet again. It is very well maintained and easy to navigate. I would like to go after rainfall so see the actual waterways filled and running. Would definitely go again.

Well-signed trail system in Cheesequake. Well-maintained trail. Not really much views, but a nice walk in the trees. Mosquitoes weren't bad until it hit 9:30am. Then it was like a switch was flipped.
