Really nice hike. Roads were closed due to snow when we visited so took the long way, but was worth it because of all the Mule deer that crossed the trail in front of us. Not recommended on a cloudy day, because then there is no view from the top.

It was definitely an easy hike. More like a stroll through a park. Hard to get that Wilderness feel, with hearing cars constantly. No wildlife.

The trail is easy to follow with an incline for the first 3 or so miles on a wide, clear path. There are beautiful scenes along the way including waterfalls and horses. The second half is confusing and hard to follow since the trail becomes narrow, there are no checkpoint signs, and there are many points where the trail splits into 2 or 3 different trails. The map IS NOT accurate in a critical area of the hike where the main trail is hard to distinguish from others. The grass is only matted down in some areas and it is hard to tell if it is the right path. I ended up getting lost a few times and walked a total of 8 miles for this 6.5 mile hike. There were times where I chose a path that led to a dead end or started to head in the wrong direction which forced me to do a lot of backtracking. It took me 2.5 hours to complete this trail with all the detours. I would advise starting early since it’s so easy to get lost or just hike the first 3 miles to the top and turn back around.

This is a nice hiking and mountain biking trail. The trail is best used from fall to spring due to the high heat in the summer. There are multiple trails throughout this trail from mountain bikers and horses so this app helps keep you on track in a couple of areas. There needs to be more trail signs put up. All in all it’s a great hike.

Fun, short hike up stairs to a beautiful view. Not recommended for those who are afraid of heights!

Absolutely beautiful! No snow or ice, but I did it before tonight’s storm. You can’t beat the views of the mountains or the valley below.

Good for hiking and biking. You could take your dog if you wanted to as well. Not very challenging but it’s a very nice trail. Saw about 10 horses that roam around the area so watch for all the poop

Short walk to the top. I like the views leading up the top more than at the top. It was a little cloudy the day we went, but still worth it.

Amazing views!

I love the view

Lots of people, but it didn’t ruin the views. I sorta ran the stairs a bit for exercise, but stopped very often. Personally I think the views climbing the stairs up were better than at the top, but that’s only Bc it was after fires, so a very hazy day. Doesn’t take long, worth it. Ok for kids too.

Great little secluded trail to hike for the day. Literally no one else on the trail. No views on portions of the trail but great relaxing hike to take with some friends.

We did this trail back in July. It was very crowded, but worth the stair climb.

As a late November hike, I knew that the chances for the waterfall to be running was slim. It was just a trickle, but hiking along the river was nice. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this hike. It rained a couple of days before and was very green and mossy. I saw lots of different trees and critters. It is an easy trail with two creek crossings. Being that there was no waterfall, I kept second guessing whether I was at the waterfall site. Like another reviewer of this trail, I kept following the social trail past the assumed waterfall location. I soon turned around after confirming the mileage was too far and that the trail was starting to become overgrown. On the hike back, hikers will be graced with beautiful views of Moro Rock. I do recommend this trail, and look forward to doing it again for wild flower season!

Steep climb with steps up to the top of Moro rock. Was busy even though was November but was also a weekend. Great boards up with interesting information along the path. We headed up here for sunset and was beautiful, the views from the top are breathtaking. Plenty of parking and toilets at the trailhead.

Depends on the time we here you though it can be very nice or very buggy!

Cool short hike. The only problem is since it’s so short, it’s very popular so you can’t really hike your speed because of the crowd.

Overall, an easy hike through the sequoias to the stair climb. Beautiful views of the valley all through out the trail and tons of wild life. The stair climb can be difficult but their are plenty of places to stop and break and enjoy the views before reaching the insane panoramic views at the top. Get their early before it gets busy to truly appreciate it :)

Short and steep hike up about 400 steps. Incredible panoramic views. Not for the person with vertigo.

Saved this trail for last on this day, and the weather cooperated! Wind was not bad, sun was also not bad, temperature was in the 40's. Saw two ravens on way up next to trail. Parking can be a problem at trailhead lot, so I had to wait till someone left. Stairs up were not too bad just take your time, take in the awesome views and you will get to the top. This is a very popular trail so be patient. This is not one you will have to yourself, unless you come really early.
