We had a great walk, lots of creek crossings and babbling water falls .For a spur of the moment hike it turned out great. Beautiful views and very peaceful

Very pretty views all around. I started with the Patricia Drive trailhead point but I ended up getting off of a very nice exclusive residential area, which I believe it was the Highland Drive Trailhead. I walked to Patricia Drive, which was a downhill so that was nice!!!

I like it. It’s pretty and just difficult enough to be fun.

This is a perfect stroll for my old lazy dog. Short and sweet in a Beautiful setting. I went mid morning on a cold day - 44 degrees and sunshine and it was lovely. Lots of woodpeckers!

Beatiful views and worth the time if you don’t mind competing with the auto traffic. Most were polite, but a couple drove way too fast kicking up dirt in our faces. I’ll skip this hike as I don’t want to compete with car traffic.

Very pretty. It felt like higher than 165ft but still easy. Nice golf course. Too bad those sand bikes are noisy and annoying.

Good 3 mile hike. Great view from the top.

Easy start, steep and sandy towards the summit, a little scrambling required. Be careful while descending.

Short and sweet, a nice sunrise walk.

This is labeled as easy but I would categorize as moderate. A good steady climb and somewhat steep at a few spots. I take my elderly parents on easy trails and I would definately not bring them on this one! Good trail through trees, good views! crosses one road with cars going pretty fast around a curve, beware! Happy hiking!

Go on a clear day. Literally a 360 view.

Fun hike if you want to spend time exploring the structures and great for amateur photographers.

This is my all time favorite SLO hike! A bit muddy today from the rain but beautiful!!

Don’t be afraid to go towards the houses. You’ll take a pretty steep hike up to the swings that overlook SLO. Beautiful views. Fun hike.

Good little trail, my tracking app said 1.75 miles with some elevation changes and pretty scenery. Would be a good one for a trail run.

Best views are at the very beginning then it’s not very exciting after that.

Park in small lot adjacent to trailhead. This is an easy to moderate hike depending on trails you follow. You can make as difficult as you want by going uphill faster or slower, a lot of it is through sand trail. I started at 4 and it was warm but there was a breeze which kept it cool. Bugs can be a problem, suggest repellent.

Park in small street adjacent to trailhead. This is an easy to moderate hike depending on trails you follow. You can make as difficult as you want by going uphill to the ridge but it is all rock. I started at 4 and it was warm but there was a breeze which kept it cool. You would really want rock boots for the ridge part of this trail, it is all rock. The back side of trail, to the south, is all construction of a new housing tract so this part of the trail is not a pretty one for half of it. Of the trails I have done in San Luis Obispo, this is the least maintained.

The Bishop's Peak Felsman Loop is an easy hike and the views are spectacular of the Central Coast. This hike of of the Eastern side of Bishop's Peak is well worth doing, great all year long, maybe not so much in rainy season. This video was shot in the summer so very little of both ticks and Poison oak as hazards if you don't get too close to the sides or go off trail. Lots of wildlife if you look for it, mostly squirrels and rabbits so hawks can always be present. This is a prime horse trail so you will encounter horses at any time. Also, there are cows and turkeys around.

Did this trail today and it’s only 2 miles up and back to the top where the bell is. Elevation Gail is 1,152. It’s a mile of UP! Coming down is no joke be careful or you will end up on your a$$. But incredible views at the top.

This was a decent hike. It was mainly foggy, so we didn’t get a chance to see the “nice” scenery. We started at 8am though, so you may want to wait until the fog lifts to actually enjoy it. The incline was fairly decent. We hiked next to a tower too, so we were able to access the Wi-Fi on our phones. Pretty chill hike!

A friend and I tried taking this for the first time. I was not prepared for all the flies. In short pants and no bug repellent. Stupid, probably, but I live nearby and have not needed insect repellent around here before. Couldn’t stop to catch your breath or take a picture without being eaten alive. Finally got so annoying we stop short of a top and went back. I will try it again when weather is different and flies gone!

Great trail for families with kids learing to ride trails a lot of people walking the trail so becareful

BEST local hike for a quick, butt-kicking workout!

Started from the small parking lot at the trail marked “exercise trail” it was fun but not marked well. The view from the top is amazing!

Great, peaceful walk that can be shortened by driving to close to top. Great for showing family and friends views of Morro Bay.

Would have been nice if we didn’t get attacked and consumed by mosquitos. Tried to enjoy an early morning hike, but there was no visibility of the bay due to fog. Could have been nice, but I wouldn’t know.

This hike is logged as 2.3 miles if you take it from the campground entrance. There is another parking lot towards the top of the trail and that is why some may say it’s a quick trail.

Trail is not marked very well and a bit confusing. Going up the trail, there were other unmarked trails which we later learned were Grove Trail and Pipeline Trail. When we were going down, we ended up in the middle of the golf course because we did not go far enough. We ended up walking
along the street near the Inn at Morro Bay to get back to the parking lot just outside the entrance of the campground.

View at the top is amazing with a nice view of The Rock.

All together spent 8 hours, started at church scrambled up loose rocks to properly insert myself on trail, I'm still sore! Came down near Costco went into wholefoods had dinner. Great views, great training exercise. Used Aveenza offline map app works great.
