Absolutely gorgeous if you go all the way to the falls

on Ozone Falls

The trailhead was pretty challenging to find, but the trail itself was well marked. The hike was nice with beautiful views and overlooks. The falls were dry, but it was still well worth the trip!

Slippery hike down to Falls- your feet will get wet. But worth every bit of it. It’s gorgeous. A paradise!

Very easy to get to top of Falls. Wish we’d had time to hike to the bottom. Will definitely be coming back for this!

Nice hike the overlooking is an easy trail, going to base of the falls is rocky and like rock climbing, but good if you are geared for hiking and using hiking boots , it will give you stability as rocks are uneven and leaves are slippery. It is breathtaking and worth it hike.

This natural area has some of the best waterfall “bang for your buck“ in Tennessee. Located just outside Craborchard Tennessee, there is a small parking area and two trails. One trail, about 100 yards long goes to the top of 110 foot waterfall. You can go straight to the edge and it is beautiful. The other Trail is maybe half a kilometer long, lots of scrambling, that goes to the bottom of the falls. It is a great picture spot and a good swimming hole in the summertime, although the water there is famously cold year around. Note for the editors of this page: the trail description is wrong, it apparently applies to a different Ozone Falls in Arkansas. There is no camping, no cabins, etc. at this location. Just an awesome waterfall.

This trail was amazing. The overlooks are the best part. Make sure to keep going and go down to Fall Creek Falls to the base of the falls. All of it together makes for a wonderful day.

No guardrail from the viewing area at the top of the falls!
At the trailhead you go left to view the falls from the top- go right to climb to the bottom. There is no trail running here- it’s all rock scrambling! Really, if you’re not going to climb the rocks to view the falls from the bottom, there’s no point in going!! Ozone is beautiful and definitely worth seeing just take your time and be careful as the mist from the falls creates slippery rocks. You could spend all day climbing and adventuring the back half of the pool and on down stream!
There is parking on the side of the road and across the street.

Pretty, very easy hike. We took our small dog for the first time and she had no problems.

Great waterfalls!

amazing! the view from the rocks below the falls is breathtaking and relatively easy to get to

Our family waited until after a night of rain todo this hike, based on some of the advice we read in other reviews. We’re glad we did. The falls were slightly more than a trickle...lovely, but might have been dry if we’d gone the day before the rain.
The trailhead, as others mentioned was confusing to find, but GPS and this trail map helped. Our 17 yr old did go down the cave-like hole to get to the very bottom of the falls. It made this mother a nervous wreck, because he had trouble getting back up & out! I would not advise doing that alone without someone, or a rope or both, to help you.
Overall, beautiful hike we will do again!

Nice easy to get to waterfall. I really enjoy this waterfall in the Fall when the leaves are changing.

Loved this Falls! Pretty blue water! I actually climbed down the steep rocky mountain to get to the falls. Would like to come back in summer time and swim in water.

This place is pretty amazing. It has it all... rivers, waterfalls, meadows, and lots of history (as told through the museum and trail markers). I took my dog and she had an amazing time running with me through the meadow, hiking the trails, and playing in the river. We saw a huge blue heron and a herd of deer in the meadow. It’s a magical place! The only complaint I have is what others noted - the trail is just dreadfully marked. I spent 2 hours essentially wandering around looking at my GPS here on AllTrails and trying to figure out where I was, as did nearly everyone I passed. The problem is threefold: there are multiple trails and spurs (not just “a loop”), AllTrails is not accurate here (not even close), and again, trails are poorly marked. An old pro told me to stop next time at the museum to get a trail map, which I had foregone since I had my trusty AllTrails. I am not deterred though despite some frustration... this place is too great for that. I’ll be back again, and next time I’ll be sure I have a paper map and will keep my phone in my pack. Can’t wait to come back!!

Good for when you have children with you! Short hike to a small but very pretty waterfall.

Great trails with several water falls!

The Woodland Trail is a beautiful well tracked trail that starts with at the Nature Center with a cool suspension bridge overlooking a beautiful stream and waterfall. I would rate this trail as a moderate hike until you get to the part of the trail that leads you to the base of a huge waterfall then the trail becomes difficult. We loved this hike and did it as a day hike. The Gorge Overlook branches off the Woodland Trail and is also a beautiful moderate hike. There are a couple of very difficult spurs off the trail that lead you out to some of the prettiest views in Fall Creek Falls State Park!!!

No clue where the trailhead is, but nice trail.

Lots of fun and beautiful! especially when the rains make it flow wildly!

Beautiful waterfall. There’s an overlook that’s easy to get to. Be careful because there are no guard rails. Not suited for small children. Then you can hike a separate trail (path of large rocks) down to the bottom of the falls. It’s so beautiful and majestic. Wear shoes that can get wet and plan to climb around and spend the day exploring the base of the falls.

A little slippery in points but definitely worth taking slow to get to bottom. We stopped by a few days after the rain storms so some really great photos!

Great hike ...trail is good but the way down to the falls can be difficult, if it has been raining .very slippery a lot of people park at the top and are not really prepared to hike down. The weekend is busy.

A great short hike. My wife and I went with our 3 and 5 year old and the kids loved it. The woodland trail was very easy, and the trail down to the falls was not bad. The overlooks are amazing.

Enjoyed the loop trail. Plenty to see and explore. Love the educational boards. Will be doing this again with the family.

The trails were perfect for my family. I have an 8 year old and she was able to do everything without a struggle. We loved every part of it.

Very scenic trail going down to the bottom off the falls was treacherous but worth the view.
