Great trail. I want to go back in the winter or spring.

Great little hike!! With all the reviews I was wondering what this hike would entail. It was an easy hike, but so beautiful with old growth, lovely Creeks and waterfalls!

Pretty easy to navigate, but I could see how one could get confused on the trail. Was weary to sit or stand on the logs with the previous reviews about the ground wasps. My daughter and I had the hike all to ourselves with the exception of a quite photographer.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very pretty this time of year. Trail isn’t well marked in places but not difficult to navigate.

Awesome and beautiful but super easy hike! Very popular spot but still worth an afternoon trip.

So gorgeous in the fall!

The lake was kind of dried up and the trail had few switchbacks so it was pretty strenuous going up.

Absolutely beautiful. Went in October and had the trail to ourselves. Took four kids with us and they did great. However, it was indeed poorly marked. I wish I had read the reviews and learned that the trail continued past the campground. We thought it just faded away there and turned to head back.

Beautiful trail many small waterfalls.

This trail is gorgeous and 4.5 miles RT

Awesome hike, forest is green and luscious. Hike was good, and weather was perfect. no rain, mud or snow.(even had first time hikers with us and everyone made it up and down) fall was an incredible sight. 100% must see. Falls flowing. We saw folks with dogs, children and bikes.

Did this hike trying to increase my miles to see what I am comfortable with doing. I definitely want to come back to camp

Really great. We opted to do this trail over Kentucky Falls after reading reviews that the road to that trailhead was rough. We were there first week of September and saw maybe 6-10 people the entire loop, not bad. There are some crawfish living in the gentle streams below, hiding in the rocks. “Swimming” is possible also, but since it’s so cold, we just kept jumping in and getting out immediately. Many different small waterfalls leading to the main waterfall at the end, I would recommend parking at the further parking lot to really experience this area.

My boyfriend and I did this trail a month ago and it was a simple trail till you got trying trail to get down to the pool. My boyfriend and I had a blast finding it but is difficult to find. I would highly recommend this pool it’s so beautiful and so worth the hike.

This hike kicked my butt in the hot weather. Was worth it though! The drive is a little rough.

Hiked Sept 8th. Longer than expected drive, but wasn't bad. Falls were low this time of year, but still had enough water to be pretty. Lots of families out with small children at both falls. Probably won't have this trail to yourself, but worth the trek. Was a bit more up & down than I expected, so was more sweaty than I thought I'd be, so that was a bonus as I was expecting super easy, which it still was. Green Peak trail branched off of what looks like a campsite, off of a gravel road, so just look for that. We first thought it was a pretty worn trail up a hill, but that's not it, keep going to that site & the trail is off the back of the site. Good hike for a short hike.

little effort for large reward. the walk is easy, a few uneven rocky sections but nothing bad and the pool is awesome. started early and was nice and quiet but got busy on the way out.

Easy, scenic hike with a massive payoff at the end.

This is a cute hike with lots to see at the beginning of the trail. The trail up follows the river at your right then you make your way up a rocky path to the top. Do yourself a favor and make a conscious effort to avoid stepping on the jagged rocks on your way up the path.

I wish that I had a bit more time to make my way down to the pool, next time for sure. That blue in the pool is just impressive. This is a must see.

Nice easy going hike in and out, could not believe how gorgeous the water was! I’ve been talking about going to see this wonder for a couple of years and was finally able to see what the hubbub was about. Well worth the effort to get to the pool and experience how truly cold that water is. Loved It!

Hike itself was really easy and boring, but the scenery is spectacular.

Beautiful easy hike !

We love this trail. You can either stay on the path or if you don’t mind getting your feet wet you can work your way up the creek.

One of the easiest close to the coast hikes!! Beautiful all around.

Def easy but we had a child and a baby in a backpack so it worked. Otherwise it was convenient to the group campsite and beautiful views of the lake.

awesome hike! not to long not to short about 5 miles all together.

This was a lovely hike through old and new growth forests to two set of waterfalls. I wish “swimming holes” were a hike category, because this is a sweet little place to take a dip in the pool beneath the falls. Yes, there are ground wasps - and they got me, too. I put my clothes on the cedar log where they have a nest, oops! But otherwise it was a nice hike on a hot day, about four miles round trip.

What a fantastic trail! Easy for everyone and so many sights to see from cool bridges and catwalks to waterfalls and swimming holes..... ran out of time stopping so often for fun that we didn’t complete the trail- will have to return again next time we are in town.

One of our favorite hikes close to home. The best time to hit this trail is in the spring when the water falls are flowing. It’s easy to get lost getting to this trail, so we’ve followed the directions in William Sullivan’s Oregon Coast Hiking book and didn’t have any problems. Water levels were pretty low last week but still a fun hike and no bugs.

ditto everyone's comments on how great it was. the negative was finding the path down to the pool. its not a trail but more a goat path along the back rim of the pool. when you arrive, go to the back side of the pool by veering right off the trail. you'll get to a semi flat spot just left, above the falls. from there climb the rocks along the edge and you'll go over the top and back down where you go straight down to the water. not as hard as it sounds but not easy to find.
