Loved the first 2.5 miles or so, beautiful scenery. Not quite as exciting after that until you get to Walnut Canyon but still a pleasant hike.

You can walk along the rim to see the walnut canyon, while the scene is not very featured.

The perfect scenic trail. Never crowded so you get the place to yourself.

Easy trail with good views of the canyon below

Ridiculously hard to find trailhead

Very interesting that people could live in that environment. Absolutely would take this walk again.

Beautiful setting and the trails were well maintained. Plenty of filtered shade on a warm day!

Trail closes at five pm. So that was sad.

Nice Easy little hike, very scenic❣️Saw a Falcon or Hawk in flight.

An easy walk with great views

Nice clean trail! Great sights.

Nice easy trail. Good canyon lookout points from the very beginning of the trail! Flat, paved; again easy but enjoyable. Nice cool down after coming back up from the Island Trail.

Great scenery !

Moderate is apt rating but it is not strenuous.

Beautiful trail.
Marked well, enjoyed the hike.

The trailhead is a little difficult to find and is located in the back of an apartment complex. The trail itself is low key. Recommended for those who enjoy a walk through the forest.

Nice hike shared with horses and bikes.

Great for family hiking!

Pretty Trail. Not to difficult at all and you could probably make it through without many breaks. There were a lot of bikers on the trail so keep a loon out. Oh, also nice bathrooms.

Beautiful views, nice loop

Great hike, beautiful scenery!

Wasn't as much of a workout as the first trail i did here but it was a really nice hike, still a good workout.

This trail is well maintained, but heavily trafficked by mountain bikers. We almost had some accidents around pretty sharp bends and not knowing a bike was coming. As an intermediate hiker I️ would rate this as easy to moderate. The 5 miles we did between Overton and the Gold Mine Trail were more enjoyable than anything. Beautiful views as you come to the Go John intersection (working clockwise from the Overton Trailhead).

Loop trail with some steady inclines but nothing steep. Hardly any shade so watch your timing with the sun on hot days and bring plenty of water.

Love the forest part of the trail. The loop through neighborhood- not so much. Next time I'll do forest and turn back around. It's really pretty in the forest.
