Gorgeous walk with stunning views of the castle. Lovely now as leaves are turning and it’s not too cold. 20km with a picnic in the middle. 5 hours done.

Fun little walk with my 9yr old - lots to see, and we enjoyed the trail aspect, very muddy, fields and woodland (fun to play in the trees!) ... we’d definitely do again (probably in wellies!)

What a fantastic trail, we ended up doing a total of 20km with a cheeky stop off for lunch in Amberley overlooking the river Arun. Would definitely do it again!

Really lovely and easy walk. Shame about the road walking at the end but next time wil try the detour suggested by another user below.

It’s a ok walk. Done some that are prettier close to south London. It was easy to get there as the trail starts at the train station.

Excellent walk with fantastic views and beautiful scenery throughout. Also some good pub stops en route although it may be worth booking ahead with the current restrictions.

A pleasant walk, you’ll need the map if the tide is out for waypoint 5 and not a lot of direction until waypoint 6. A little ‘roady’ between waypoint 5 and 6. We found an alternative for the end of the route, instead of Turing right after crossing over the road by the dentist, we went left then right onto legionaries walk, it’s a little quieter because you’re away from the road and brings you out by the crossing from the start of the walk.

We did the walk and clockwise from the station car park, which got the hill out of the way early, but its not much of a hill. Good view of Amberley village and castle from the top. We were blessed with cloudless skies and 70° not a long walk, with the Black Horse Ph about half way for refreshments

Great hike, not too strenuous on the hills, surprisingly. We also added a short walk up to Amberley for a quick stop in the pub!

A really enjoyable walk, even in the rain! Intetesting and varied terrain. Lots of steps unhill towards the end, but even my 7 year old didn't moan too much about them And the views are magnificent!

WalkingGreat!

Easy walk, the uphill steps towards the end were the hardest part but not too bad at all. It’s a fairly short walk, took a couple of hours with stopping of for a quick picnic half way
