The next one Map

trail was extremely muddy, make sure to bring proper footwear. easy to get off trail (and off property!).

The view on top is magnificent! I took the blue/red trail on the left to go on top of the mountain and it is very rocky. Make sure to keep your head up to see the markers. There is a small portion where there seems to be no more markers and you will go right on a wide trail (like for ATV) and then you will have to go off that path and take a left (slight uphill) to get back on track and keep going along the "cliffs".
Very nice hike overall!!

This is Audubon preservation land and a beautiful area to experience in most temperatures. I have hiked all of the trails in the small system there and this particular one was a good one for takin mom at her skill level while offering lots of beauty for mine. All of the routes are fun so make the day your own. Tide levels will change the scenery and the paths feature forest and marshland views that are just amazing. The visitor center has really been putting in some great updates too with turtles and fish and the turkey and wild bird feeders can be enjoyed through big windows. You're likely to meet all of those same birds on trail too. Trails are a good width and might be wheelchair accessible though you can call to verify. A small fee for area use helps maintain this fantastic wildland preserve and there are great bathrooms and a gift shop in visitor center too.

The trail was very wet from all the rain some of the parts of the trail had turned into a small creek so would recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes.

My husband and I started our hike on the blue trail and ended on the blue/red trail. The trail markings were spaced far apart and difficult to follow. Some of the trail markings were faded and need to be remarked. It is easy to go off the trail if you are not carful.
The views were beautiful.

Beautiful moderate hike, great around the fall time!

My whole family loves going here! My daughter wanted to get married there. Our dogs have enjoyed it as well.!

First time unplanned exploration so this review is just based on a very small piece of the forest. We spent most of our time on the old cart roads but the few single track trails we found we're more of a 4 star rating. Whisteling Caves Trail was the highlight of this short hike. l look forward to exploring more.

Lot’s to choose from, but not well marked.

The fall colors are out in full force right now, and yet I only ran into one person on this entire hike (aside from people hanging out at the docks). It was stunning. I highly recommend this trail when the leaves are changing.

On a positive note the hike had very nice views over looking the lake and terrain can be challenging at times. On the negative the trail markings are very difficult to follow so make sure to use this map and also print one out as this one is not color coded properly. Also watch where you step as there was a baby 18” rattlesnake near the path today which would not have been good had we stepped on it.

There are so many great trails at this park. Also a working farm with a ice cream stand. This has become my favorite walking spot!

this trail was one of the toughest i've done. was a good work out. there are so many rocks. and very steep terrain. i would say this trail is moderate/hard. i liked the views and i will be back for more

Great views. The hike is what I scored. Frustrated with the app, though. I recorded it and it didn’t save and wouldn’t let me share.

Bugs were unbearable for a hike.

Great hike and the ice cream shop/petting zoo is a fun ending! Take a trail map as the trails overlap many times and some are poorly marked.

Beautiful! So much to explore here!!!

Lots of open areas with great views! Climb was on the easy side of moderate, but still on good rocky terrain for most of the loop. Very easy to go the wrong way the first mile or two, so heads up.

First time on this trail was 8/19/18, post two week rain period. Lots of mud, water.. but extremely fun. I being a new MTN biker had to work hard on this trail. I recommend it and am looking forward to doing this again very soon.!

Great hike. Started at West Lane entrance. Went left at fork and took Blue/Red trail to Blue trail. Nice scenes. Great peak. Took Blue up to Blue/Yellow and cut back across East to starting point. AllTrails said we hiked 4.3 miles and burned 1431 calories. NICE. Definitely got a great workout. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back and do full loop.

Really buggy at the very beginning near the pond, but once you get further along on the trail bugs disappeared. Trail was easy to follow and there were very few roots, but it did get tight in the middle and could use having some of the brush trimmed back.

A really awesome trail with great views. It would certainly be a 5 star review if the trails were marked better. Very easy to get lost. I have The AllTrails Pro and it bailed us out a couple of times.

Trail is very badly marked in several places. The area near the golf course is one of them. Got lost and had to ask some golfers for directions but still a very nice trail overall.

This trail was easy to get to, had plenty of parking and we only saw 2 other groups of people until we got back to the parking lot. The trail is fairly easy terrain for walking, but the roots are abundant so be careful. The trail was also very well marked. The pond and the streams are beautiful. Lots of photo ops. I would love to kayak here. We only did a couple of miles out, found a nice boulder to sit on, then walked back. Total did about 4 miles and took 2 hours (leisurely pace). I would love to do the whole loop however that’s a lot of time on foot. :(

beautiful trail, I wish it was slightly better marked but fantastically kept. bugs are out and it was swampy but fun

Nice trails, great for hiking or mtn biking.
