Beautiful hike! We hiked it in July. My almost 5 and almost 3 year old did it with me. Took a little longer with the kids in tow, but that is expected and it was a great hike. They really enjoyed it. There is a picnic area with tables by the lower falls which was nice. The kids were ready for lunch by the time we reached it so it was a nice lunch with a gorgeous view. We hiked up to the middle falls after lunch and it’s so worth it. Beautiful views, very peaceful. We went on a week day and it wasn’t too busy, definitely worth it. Also the little ranger station has a junior ranger scavenger hunt for the kids, if they complete it they get to pick a badge. Awesome way to keep them moving and in the lookout for things. Will do this again!

It's a Moderate hike I'd say. the out houses were locked when we got there so that was kinda cruddy. Hike wasn't the most beautiful, in my opinion. Although, the closer you get to the falls, the more scenic the trail becomes and the waterfall itself was pretty stellar. Trail is a little narrow in some areas. Pretty rocky towards the top, so just be careful during the winter or simply when its wet.

You need to find a stone graffitied “falls” and veer off the main road to the left to find the yellow diamonds trail to upper and lower falls, goodluck! To enter the trail we went over a white hurdle, continues by the lake and up towards your right, immediate left turn to the “do not enter” (referring to vehicles) kind of tricky but WORTH IT!

We did this hike on a Sunday morning (got to the trail head around 9 am) and had the place essentially to ourselves. There was no permit required since it's now wintertime, either. It was snow-free and not too muddy, either -- our dogs loved this trail and it was a beautiful way to start our morning.

First half of the trail has a marked path and is cleared fairly well. Once it splits the trail can get muddy and narrow in points, but we were hiking in november. There's definitely a few wet areas to cross so need to make good shoe decisions if you plan on hiking off season. The final creek crossing before the falls has a tree to crawl over or a 1' deep swift, cold, fast moving wet path - took our shoes off and carried the 7 year old over and let the 10 year old crawl the tree.

Awesome hike with 3 falls and the valley lookout.

As others have noted, the trails here have quite a few forks and branches. Thank goodness for All Trail app’s GPS map, or I would have been totally lost.

Hiked this trail today. Easy, well groomed, creek- side hike. Snow line was just above the falls allowing easy access to the base. The falls were raging while snow flurried. Some puddles and mud but easy to walk around. Light traffic.

Beautiful hike with well-maintained trails. Signage to Cerry Creek Falls now well posted. The falls are worth the hike, in any weather.

An easy, short hike with a beautiful waterfall. We went during the fall rains and the waterfall was swollen and raging.

Busy trail on a Sunday, but the views of the river and falls were well worth it.

Beautiful falls!!

The hike was not bad over all. Not very well marked on the trail which ways to go. There are several residents that live in the area. It wasn't muddy or too cold. The view of the waterfall wasn't too impressive as I had hoped.

Nice hike. Was not too muddy. Not totally sure that we found the right falls, but we found some. They did not look like a picture that was shown us when we wanted to confirm we were in the right track. There was much more to explore then we had time for, so we will definitely be going back.

Okay, whoever called this an ‘Easy’ hike definitely overlooked the fact that the trail from middle falls to upper is actually marked ‘more difficult’, and rightly so. This is definitely a ‘moderate’ hike, with many many falls-view treats. About 0.5-1 mile into the trail, you reach small falls, it’s a very intimate, beautiful view of the falls. If you proceed along there’s a little loop that’s 0.5 mile called intervine trail, you wouldn’t miss much if you choose to skip that and head back to the woody trail. As one would expect you reach the lower falls, it’s the first view of Wallacefalls you’ll have, it will take your breath away. It’s majestic. About ~0.5 miles in you reach the Middle Wallace falls. This is perhaps my favorite view of the falls, it brings you much closer to the falls, not enough to feel the mist but still close. You could move your head about 120 degeres and catch a view of the Wallace falls and the majestic Olympic skyline. One of the hikers mentioned that usually it’s never a clear view of the skyline and that today we had gotten lucky. Luck we were, indeed!
Most hikers turned back at this point. I choose to continue along to the next 0.6 mile to the upper falls. This section was the hardest. It’s switch back city and the trail unforgiving making you gain nearly 1000ft. The upper falls, to me was a little underwhelming. Partly cause I ran into a group of hikers that chose to lunch at the viewing spot of the falls. But still just as beautiful. I ended up using my hiking poles on the way back from upper to middle falls, the steepness and the wetness was a little scary, so it really helped. Took me about 3hrs RT. This is such a great winter hike and I have my hearts content of waterfalls :)

The falls are truly a hidden gem! Great hike for kids. I’ve taken my 4 year old twice this year, once during summer and the falls didn’t have much water but still made for a perfect picnic lunch spot. And once this weekend, which after the rain it was a tad muddy however the falls were roaring and gorgeous! We even saw some salmon In the pond!

on Twin Falls Trail

A good 3.7 mile hike round trip to the Twin and Upper Falls. The trail is well maintained and its a good workout as the trail is inclined for the most part. Be prepared for a number of steps. Good resting spots and a nice bridge to view the falls. I rated the trail 4* since there wasn’t anything too scenic or breathtaking sceneries at the end of the trail or on the way. Good workout and a refreshing break if you are looking for a quick drive from Seattle.

Very easy hike in, trail just a little slick in areas by the falls. Falls were gorgeous and very enjoyable to listen to.

great waterfall.

beautiful, just very busy trail!

Hiked the trail today under snowy conditions. Trails were covered in slush with areas of packed snow and puddles. We walked in hiking boots, Yaktrax would have been helpful in areas. We really enjoyed the trail there were lots of little waterfalls and overlooks along the way.

Love this mountain. even on Thanksgiving it was crowded on the main trail, but if you take the side trails it's wonderful.

My favorite Seattle hike when the mountains feel too far away. Just watch out for all the trail runners;)

Two words... HEATED RESTROOMS. (Located at the trailhead). Great amenities for a chilly November morning!!! Arrived at 830am to an abundance of parking... Much fuller around 230pm when leaving... Only saw about 15 others total throughout the day. A few super respectful dog owners (Appreciated!!!)/trail runners and mushroom foragers (How PNW of them...). Overall easy hike with well maintained trails... Great views of the falls. A missed off-shoot did head us up a steeply inclined maintenance road... What's another 6 miles???

Get there early. Excellently maintained trail. Great view from the middle.

Nice stroll with a couple loops to give options as you go.

Fun trail with interesting sights along the way. There is some mud and a point where you either have to ford a creek or walk over a fallen tree, so go for waterproof footwear if possible. The end with the falls are gorgeous in autumn and you can view it both from the bottom and get right up to the top. We brought our pup and he had great time, but smaller or older dogs may not be equipped to complete the entire loop.

Great hike for the first two lower falls, the last one really is a killer for the stairs to get to the top falls!

I’ve done this hike so many times now. It will probably always be my favorite! It’s great for those who are new to hiking, or haven’t in a long while getting back into it. It had a nice steady incline until you reach the last stretch of stairs. The views are amazing!

Beautiful views and easy hike. I love the hike in terms of convenience. Less travel time and no hassles in terms of parking.
