Great hike.

I really liked this place. Kind of hard to know where the trail actually is and it’s easy to get lost in here if you veer from the main path onto one of the many more scenic trails. But me and my family had a blast none the less

Love this trail but I hate the dam crossing. I’ve hiked it 2.5 times now...storm came up on one trip and didn’t let up...and on the last trip i dropped down behind the dam to cross. The trail is in good condition. Map is available as pdf if you search for Good Water Loop Trail.

We loved this trail. It was very rocky, with a few, somewhat, steep slopes. Especially at the end by the falls. There’s a picnic table with a lovely view of the falls on one side and the river on the other. Great place to eat lunch.

Good trail if you're in the mood for a quick there and back hike. Took a little under 2 hours roundtrip. A little rocky along the way and very slippery going down to the falls. Definitely worth a couple hours of your life for the views of the waterfall. Beautiful.

There are other trails on the other side of the river! If you stop by the Stillhouse Hollow Lake office before you cross the dam you can pick up a map. Plenty of wild turkey, turtles, and birds to see.

This trail seems to be one of the most used trails in the park. Right as you get to the falls the trail is steep and would be very slippery if it was wet. If you have younger children you might have to end up carrying them. The falls aren’t as impressive as I would have liked. Bring plenty of water!

Very clean and maintained trials. Come early! The parking lot is small and will fill up fast. And...when the sun comes up you are going to feel it. There is not a lot of shade on most parts of these trails.

Many beautiful well kept trails to choose from. Great for kids to explore and play.

Very rocky trail, but worth the view of Gorman Falls at the end!! Would definitely go back.

You definitely need balance for this Trail. There are some steep areas. I wish there were markings or something so I knew where the trail led to.....we turned around at some point. I also would NOT bring my dogs on this trail.

Place is nice and the trails are well marked. It seems to stay busy.

Great 2 day hike. Start off at Cedar Breaks and hike about 15mi to Walnut Creek primitive camp site. There are a lot of good spots to pitch your tent and you can head down to a small beach to cool off in the water! After that it’s about 11 more miles around the lake. Really enjoy this spot, decent views, good people, a diamond in the rough if you’re looking to get some good mileage in.

About 5 miles if you turn back at the falls. Terrain is pretty technical with a lot of rocks so watch your step. Great views of the lake.

The River Trail is an easy traipse along the river. Uneventful but the river is a nice companion.

Decent trail. As stated in other reviews, wear trail runners or boots The trail is rocky and steep heading down to the falls. But the payoff is worth it. The waterfall is like a mini-rainforest. Gorgeous place.

cheesegrater!

Once you get yourself on the right trail it’s a great experience. Wasn’t able to finish the entire trail cause my phone died but was able to hit the key points, falls and bridges. Definitely will be going back in the future very well kept too esp for an unpaid park

Was fun with the kids however it is not stroller friendly even with a hiking stroller

Super rocky so you def have to watch your step! I would say this is more like a medium-hard trail with great scenery (waterfall) at the end. But on the way there, there’s nothing but cactus, rocks, and some scorched burn spots.

Good 2 day backpacking trip. The trail is very well kept and maintained. The trail itself is very nice and a fun, challenging hike. The south shore is much more scenic, rugged, and remote feeling. That being said, this is not a remote trail, and there are houses visible from many parts of the trail - several with their back fences adjacent to the trail - and almost always road noise.

It’s a real easy walk with steps and a swinging bridge. Pretty area with lots of people on the weekends!

Great scenery and cool terrain. The falls are 2.5 miles from the trail head at Cedar Breaks. So, it is a 5 mile out and back - NOT 7.7 miles as listed.

We will definitely return!

scenic views. great hike. lots of trash and dog poo on trail though.

Slippery, steep rock near the end. The installed cables make it doable.

Completed the loop this weekend. What a great trail. I really enjoyed the numerous camp options available, great views, and well marked trail. The only part we got mildly confuse on was after mile 24 when you start your way up to the dam. Would love to hike it again in the fall or spring. I do t think I would attempt this full loop trail in the summer. Enjoy

Love the trails here! Very pretty and peaceful! only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because if you've never hiked these trails before they can get a little confusing as to where you should go. now if things like that don't bother you than you'll love it!
