Hiking

Fairly tough hike, but absolutely beautiful. We went early October and the lake was still icy which made it even prettier.

Hiking

Were were able to walk on the road in snow boots and to the boat ramp of Jenny Lake, carrying snowshoes. We put on the snowshoes to walk out on the lake, and explore to the left and right of the lake, before heading back. We would not have been able to do the exploring without snowshoes. We carried them again when we reached the road. Amazing views, even among the clouds!

Stay on the road otherwise there’s a river blocking the route to jenny lake. Amazing view.

Great hike along the shoreline. Beautiful trail especially around the north end of the lake. Saw a bear here too.

Hiking

Fairly tough hike, especially towards the very end, but absolutely worth it. The lake is beautiful as is the scenery on the way up. Saw 3 bears on this trail too (July 2020)

Completed this loop in July 2020; absolutely gorgeous!!!! So worth the hike, and it was relatively moderate in terms of difficulty.

Hiking

early Sept 2020. the most challenging and rewarding hike of my life. not for novices as the final 2 miles or so are extremely steep and require passing through 2 boulder fields. but wow! the lake is so spectacular is makes every agonizing step worth it. got off trail on the way down and had to go through brush to get back to the main trail. be careful on the way back and retrace your footsteps.

Hiking

Teton Park Rd. is closed just after the Taggart Lake Trailhead. The approach to the Jenny Lake trail head is 4.5mi. Once we got to the trail head, we bush whacked the Jenny Lake Trail with snow shoes until we hit Jenny Lake Lp. and we're exhausted.

This trail was tough. Very pretty scenery and had lots of elements. Snow, mud, rocks, sand and more. Even saw a moose. It was a long hike to the top, but worth the view. Be prepared and wear proper hiking attire and water if you get dehydrated easily.

So beautiful. The last bit of the path up is not marked so you do have to go through a boulder field. Loved this trail so much. I’ll definitely be back.

One of the best trails I’ve ever been on. The views are just beautiful. You can spot wildlife on this trail however we did not see any but there was a big bear poop in the middle of the trail! :D The weather turned very windy and rainy on our way back in September. Trees do fall on these trails so be sure to carry all your necessary hiking gear.

Another fantastic Tetons hike. The last mile is EXHAUSTING! Get ready for full body burn. But the views at the top are incredible. Delta lake is unlike anything I’ve seen. Bring a beer and sand which because you’re going to need it

Breath taking trail. The last 3/4 mile was not for the faint of heart. Incredibly steep. Yak tracks needed. I did it on 11/4 and the road to the trail head was closed so you either have to bike about 5 miles or start at the taggart lake trailhead and go past Bradley lake. That's what I did and I clocked about 12 miles round trip.

Additional traction needed. Also bring a bike because you'll have to park at the Taggart trailhead parking lot and ride ~4.5 miles to lupine meadows.
