Great hike for families, kids, and dogs. There are a few trails and loops to take and all are clearly marked. There were a lot of wildflowers. Would be a great place to hang out all day with the family and a picnic. Watch out for ticks.

My wife and I loved this place, Cane Creek falls was gorgeous!!

2 girlfriends and I hiked to Virgin Falls today. Perfect weather. Took us about 4 hours and we stopped at Laurel and Virgin falls to take pics and have snacks. I would rate it as hard but totally doable. The falls were beautiful. Lots of water flowing. It would also be a great place to camp.

Great hike, nice virgin timber, nice way to spend the day, but please stay off the falls!!

Breathtaking the first time you see it. One of my all time favorite hikes and waterfall.

Beautiful park and trails. A lot of wildflowers and several waterfalls to check out. Twin Falls is one of my favorites.

Beautiful area!!!❤

Spring budding and plenty of water at the falls made this hike exceptional

Wonderful place. Not much hiking but a lot to see in a small area. Be aware that you must have a permit to enter the cave. You can get them by calling Fall Creek Falls. The cave is also closed in the winter months but it’s still worth the visit

my favorite by far, it's a 3 in 1 trip with such unique waterfalls. take plenty of water....

Great hike with awesome views along the way! Hiked this with my wife two days ago and it took us about 4.5 hours. We are novice hikers in fair shape and found it moderately difficult. There were snow flurries during our which made the trail a little slick but was manageable. Pretty steep, steady incline throughout, mainly during the last half, but well worth the effort when you get to the end and see the Falls.

Beautiful trail! Did it in the middle of the week in February and it was actually very trafficked. The falls was very pretty!

Bring water shoes in your pack. Went after the rains and the waterfall was in it’s full glory. Wildflowers and the trees in bloom. Perfect day

From Hampton trailhead, if you want a loop near the end of the trail and just before the falls, continue along trail [bypassing the initial decent] up to the AT. Continue along the trail for 10 to 15 minutes until the stone stairway trail [on the right] down to the falls, from there follow Laurel Falls trail back to the parking lot.

Lovely trail, amazing stone stairs and a beautiful water fall.

This was my first hiking/camping trip about a month ago and Ive been wanting to go back ever since. We hiked down to Laurel Falls,Sheep Cave and eventually Virgin Falls. All were a sight to see. Virgin Falls was literally breathtaking if you're able to safely get closer to the bottom. I plan on returning this summer.

Great hike the creek crossings were more like river crossing though would probably hike again if I could bring my dog but until then probably won't

Great short trail. Beautiful waterfall views! Some of the viewings were closed due to flood damage today, but it was still worth visiting. Trail maintenance was excellent.

We accessed the trail head by the rainbow falls parking area. Road was closed so we had to hike to the trail head. There are two options to get to the trail head. First option is to take the paved road all the way to the Grotto falls trail head, Good incline the whole way with a couple of stop points to look at the view of the mountains. Second option is about half mile in you will see a sign for Trillium gap trail. Go right in the woods then left up the hill. This is a much better hike but harder. It follows the paved path but much closer to nature in my opinion.

We saw three bear, a bob cat and a deer almost ran into us on the trail. The Grotto falls trail was busy and it was busy at the falls. Total trip was around 5 miles with the road being closed. Worth it to walk behind the falls.

We took the pavement path back.

Love this trail completely

有几处瀑布,非常壮观。

Great hike to start the day! We parked and started at the Rainbow Falls trailhead and hiked up along the Trillium Gap Trail due to the road being closed. This added a couple of extra miles to the total hike. The trail was heavily trafficked; the only thing to watch out for are the roots and rocks. Would recommend sturdy shoes. The Falls were flowing beautifully due to the recent rainfall.

This is a great short hike with plenty to see and do. The steep descent and climb back up is well worth it to check out Machine Falls. With more than 6 total miles of trail in the Short Springs Natural Area, there is plenty to fill an afternoon. All of the trails are well maintained.

Beautiful hike! It is dog friendly, but unless your dogs are really great on a leash, you'll have to unleash them for a bit to get down to the falls. It's a little difficult to access because it's STEEP and quite slippery. Was a little crowded for my taste, but other than that, the falls are beautiful and definitely worth the hike!

If you park at Bald River Falls, to the far end of the parking lot, there is a hiking trail you can go on that takes you above the waterfall and up to the Middle Bald River Falls- about 1.4 miles (out and back)- highly recommend if you’re looking for a shorter hike. Review will be posted on our blog soon, with pics- www.Wander-Full-Life.com

Not really a hike. Just a few steps from the pull off to the falls. Beautiful. Plan on returning in summer with Chaco’s and swimming trunks.

Hiked there many times. There was a time before the State bought this area when very few people knew where it was...that was when it was the best but those days are gone.
Pretty easy hike but the trail does get steep going to the river although there are now some stairs (use to be none! )and the rocks near and in the water can be very slippery...take it slow....
Very crowded lots of days especially on weekends

Always one of my go-to short trails. Very well maintained and love the falls

Great little hike. Had to start at Rainbow Falls and do Trillium Gap to Grotto as Roaring Trail is closed for the winter. What’s a few extra miles lol. There’s been so much rain lately the falls are pretty and going behind them is pretty cool!

Great conditions, hiked on 3/27 with 4, 8, 9, and 12 year olds. You need to watch the little ones in parts. There are very steep drop offs. The waterfall at the end is beautiful and the trail crosses the middle of it.

Do not even attempt to bring a stroller. We saw a few folks with umbrella strollers and it was a bad idea.

Easy hike down to Blue hole and grotto falls. Beautiful scenery . You can walk around to the left of blue hole and up through some brush to access a cliff at the top you can jump off of into it. Be careful. It can be slippery
