Got grumpy going up the big hill but it’s manageable. Nice, interesting rocks at the top. Lovely stream trail on the decline. Counter clockwise is the way to go.

Truly a breathtaking piece of paradise. A place with so many hidden gems even away from the main parts of the park. Must visit for any outdoor lover !

Well this was my first time at the falls, I went with my brother in law and nephew. Our plans were to take the shorter trail due to it getting dark so early again. We accidentally ended up in the lower parking lot and said the hell with it and took the longer route. First and foremost the extra hike was definitely work it. Just the few extra waterfalls on it alone are worth it.
Once we got to the loop it was beautiful, but holy steps Bat-man!! lol. It was a hike up hill. Since we had some snow recently it was definitely very dangerous in spots, I understand why they have so many warnings posted.
Over all, with the careful footing for to the ice and the MANY pictures we stopped to take, the whole trek took us 4.5 hr's. And we finished just in time as the sun was going down and the rain began.
Overall a great first time experience at Rickets Glenn. We must have discussed or future trips back half a dozen times over the hike.

This map is misleading as it starts you on the Exeter Trail which is 2.5 miles of flat trail next to the Schuylkill River before you get to the actual Neversink Loop. If you want to skip the extra 5 miles, look for the Klapperthal parking lot in your GPS. That said, the flat portion was lovely and a very easy walk. The day I did this I only hiked up to Witches’ Hat, and I missed a sign about a closed trail due to hunting (there was a large branch covering it). There are a bunch of side trails here so I suggest checking out the Neversink Mountain Preserve website online to see all of them. There is personal property mixed in as well, so just be aware of that.

Amazing in the winter.

My son took me out on Falls Trail the day before Thanksgiving. He is an experienced climber and guide and I learned a lot about hiking in winter. We were the only people on the trail and got to see the falls in a pristine snow-covered setting. Unbelievable. We went to Waters Meet and then turned around, as it was pretty strenuous for me. It was incredibly beautiful.

Stunning. Hiked it in the snow and although that made it cold and wet it was still awesome.

It was a lot of fun to get out and start exploring some of the more impressive trail systems in PA!!!! 11/10/2018

Love this trail. Hiked twice — once in the spring and once in the middle of summer. Would like to try again in the fall. Can be very crowded, but the falls are breathtaking and worth it. Good idea to bring bug spray on this hike during the summer.

Boulder field is a really interesting geological anonymity that I highly recommend you check out if you havent yet. Couple of reason for the lower rating though, 1. there is a gravel road that leads right up to boulder field, so its pretty guaranteed that the field will be packed on any given nice weather day, and that results in there being higher than usual trash and even some graffiti on the rocks. 2. Its really close to a highway so theres high traffic noise for most of the hike. Again I highly recommend you check it out but after doing it twice myself I doubt ill be returning.

Trail was beautiful, great views. It was a little wet when we went and had quite a few river crossings but I made for a great day-hike.

Skyline section is so much fun! I highly suggest doing this counterclockwise.

easy, well maintained trail. Part of it is paved and the other part is manicured nicely. You can bring a stroller and dogs as long as they are on a lease. Touching stories of those who fought back on the bottom of the trail and beautiful overlook of the crazh site at the top.

Awesome trail!

Went to see the fall foliage on 03 November, but majority of leaves had fallen (cold season starts earlier there). Still well worth it. Beautiful moss covered rocks line many portions of the trail. Eventually, you walk along some roaring mountain streams. Probably not an "easy" trail, but certainly not hard. Would recommend as a pleasant day hike.

This is obviously a great hike, though it can be crowded at times. Awesome falls just about the entire hike. It took us about 4 hours to do the loop on a less crowded day. It can be slippery so use caution. Must do hike and IMHO late October early November is the best time.

The trail was wonderful and the leaves were in prime color.

Trail is beautiful! Falls vary in size but all are great. Just hiked today and leaves made for slippery rocks and trails but the scenery was perfect! Great fall hike for sure. I will definitely return. My German Shepherd who is almost 11 years old pretty much ran this whole trail which means I did as well. Also lots of detours into the water for fun! Great trail for dogs (if larger in size and in good shape) lots of well marked trails and plenty of spots to step aside to let people pass. Highly recommend this trail! Experience it because it's worth it!

Love this trail. Spots are muddy, some hills and part of the path you walk over lots of rocks. Lots of things to see, definitely not a boring trail. Love the view from Wolf Rocks. Spots can be a little overgrown with thorn bushes and some spots you have to walk through mud so wear good boots.

The hike was beautiful. I recommend doing the steep climb first. There are stunning views at Raven’s Rock and another towards the end. Most of the trail is next to a little creek. It’s wonderful.

There are multiple tree environments. Walking through the different environments one after the other was beautiful.

Visited 10/28/18. Paid $10 per person and it’s well worth it! Attended a 30 minute educational lecture of the different raptors that migrate through the area. The trails are pretty. Be prepared for a lot of boulders and rocky terrain. Their easy to maneuver but I suggest good hiking shoes.

Went on a Saturday afternoon paid $10.00 well worth it!

I think this trail leans closer to “moderate” than “easy” in difficulty (ignoring the fact that it was covered in snow when I completed it). Most of the trail is narrow and rocky.

fun hike but it is a challenge to follow. some very steep areas but just be aware. Good view and opportunity for wildlife but we only saw a couple turkeys!

What a great hike! Be prepared for lots and lots of rocks and boulders! Challenging but even my 12 yr old finished strong!
Proper shoes and water and snacks is a must. The loop took us about 4hrs. Exhausted but what a great day!

Very cool topography at the boulder field.

heavily packed on weekends.

This is one of my favorite hikes that I’ve ever done!! It’s amazing to see so many waterfalls in one day! Each big & beautiful! Easy trail. Don’t miss the little red lizards!

This is one of my favorite hikes! It is very crowded during the summer because people swim at the base of the falls, but the trails are never overpacked. The rocks can get very slippery so you need to wear shoes with good traction. The views are incredible every step of the way!
