Beautiful!
Busier until you break off. Easier to start loop to the left. Don’t miss the fire tower view it’s amazing.
Short hike to beautiful falls!
can anyone tell me if the restrooms are open while the visitor center is closed?
Easy parking, bathrooms at trailhead. Be cautious with children and dogs around cliff edge. Amazing views at lookout points.
super busy with people
Icy but summit is worth the effort. Drive in is slick but can be done without 4WD.
Excellent trail with unbelievable views. It was a clear day so I could see almost everything in the distance. Cannot say enough about this trail. Steep in some places but all together manageable. Not a lot of views before you get to the top but still incredible trail. Recommend this one.
A trail to workout your calf muscles. Short paved section into large gravel/dirt into stairs into stone. Go early to avoid the crowds, the view at the top makes it worth it!
Harder than I thought it would be. Slick snowy/icy trails with significant incline. Great views at the top!
Be prepared for 2 miles of poorly maintained dirt road up/down the side of the mountain. If going when it is wet or after snow 4x4 (at min. AWD) required. Trail could be better marked with several other small trails leading off but using AllTrails GPS helped. Views from the top were absolutely worth it and the best picture opportunities around!
Beautiful! Must see
Pleasant hike, not too challenging. A bit muddy but glad I came after 1pm so there was no Ice. Next time I think I’ll park at endless wall trailhead and exit at Nuttall. Then walk 0.5 miles downhill to the car. Only saw two others. Very peaceful
Clockwise: starts flat (can be muddy) before challenging rocky trail. Some of it appears to be a creek bed. Fabulous views at the top, especially from the fire tower. Mile + down the stairs is easy & quick but would stink going up.
Not a difficult hike, but the views! Go for the views please! West Virginia is so untouched so beautiful. Everywhere you turn here your surrounded in God’s beauty. I totally understand the John Denver song almost heaven West Virginia, because that’s just it, it looks like almost heaven literally!
Went early, very cold and windy at the top. But such a wonderful hike and great views at the top. We went clockwise but saw so many people going counterclockwise on the way down. Will def be back.
Beautiful as always. Challenging terrain for most but more than worth it if you can do it. The absolute best views around once you get to the peak.
Incredible views from top! We went after a snow and it was definitely icy and slippery. We missed a trail turn at one point as so most of the trail is covered in snow, but found out way easily back. Definitely recommend spikes and/or hiking poles for a winter hike here!
