Easy trail. Frozen waterfall.

Easy. Good to do on a day when you wanna do a bunch of stuff. Pretty

Nice short hike. Beautiful colors. Would love to see in the spring with more runoff.

Wanted to do some short hikes before we drove back to Vegas. The upper and middle pool trails were closed due to rock falls so that left the lower pool. It was Ok. Real easy. I will say the fall colors were really gorgeous on the trail! Other than that, the pool at the end was nothing special. If you have time to kill and want to get in a short hike, I would recommend this one.

This trail is fun and simple! Great cool down/warm up. The rock can be slippery when wet so watch your footing! The upper pools are closed due to rock falls in July.

I went at dusk and so avoided the crowds (well, other than a pack of photographers with their 3-legged companions at the start). Trees are changing here and they look spectacular against the canyon walls. The walk from the lodge to the lower pool (as far as you can go right now) was shorter than I would have liked but it was a very welcome opportunity to stretch my legs after a long drive in.

It was a lovely drive with lots of viewpoints. I did every other viewpoint driving toward Rainbow Point and then the rest driving back so I wouldn’t be stopping at every single one and so I had something to do on the way back.

This was a nice trail. It was colder so there weren’t many people at all. It goes over a wash and up to a fork where you can see a waterfall (no waterfall right now) and the mossy cave. The cave is certainly mossy and there’s an info sign that says it’s covered in icicles in the winter. The trailhead is fairly easy to find. Go east on 12 and around one of the bends is a parking area with a sign and a little shack.

Short but sweet hike with good views. Nothing too crazy

The waterfall had essentially no water in it (in late October) and the cave wasn't anything special. Easy, but extremely boring hike.

One of the wonders of nature
Enjoyed three hours of hiking up and down and admiring beautiful scenery
I shall go back any day

The best I have hiked. Loved it

Short hike, but views are fantastic. Plus, the car ride up to and through the tunnel is worth doing by itself. If you’re going through the park, you’ll need a pass.

Beautiful trail some puffing coming back up but not bad

Gorgeous view! Don’t let the beginning climb scare you off, it’s totally doable.

Beautiful and one of the easier hikes in Utah in my opinion. Video one my hike with the wife here.

The Park map calls this a moderate trail. There are rails throughout to help so to frequent hikers, this would be considered easy. There is a small wood bridge so if you have a fear of heights, probably not the best trail for you. The view is definitely beautiful all throughout though!

Nice trail. I would rate the hike Easy/Moderate. Very narrow at one point. Lots of great views.

Great little trail... Spent a week doing a lot of the areas trails.

Fun easy hike with great views! A must do if you’re coming past the tunnel on the north side

Your information is incorrect on access to Lava Point Lookout and trails on the Kolob Terrace.. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ACCESS UNTIL MAY not March.. The road is closed to snowmobiles only and Is not accessible until later in MAY.. Our local search and rescue does not need to be rescuing stranded individuals that try to access in March, April... these months are dangerous winter conditions..

This is also true for the scenic byway dates. We have heavy snow and drifts until MAY...

Please update your information to reflect this change.... Much appreciated

Activity wise not much to speak if but photographically is was fabulous

Short but was able to get some beautiful shots
