A few steep ascents and descents. Mainly mud and sand paths so I wouldn't attempt after the rain. Some beautiful views and lovely surroundings.

Beautiful area and a great walking route. There is a particularly lovely area across Ranmore Common and past a large section of Vineyards. Peaceful route through the forest also. If you’re driving don’t go to the train station car park, go to the Crabtree lane car park - that way you’ll avoid a fine and there’s still plenty of space in Crabtree!

Surrey Hills is a lovely area but I don’t think this takes in too many of the beat views. A lot of the paths are in the forest or seem to take you away from the best of the views. Still a good walk, particularly around Pilgrims Way and St Martha’s Hill. I went in the morning so avoided the crowds. If you do this walk and do catch a good view, spend some time enjoying it because they’re fleeting!

A lovely quick loop that follows a peaceful trail through the forest and fields. Some sections go along roads and residential paths, but all in all a good walk and recommended if you live in the local area!

This is a great walk with wonderful views. Started at St Martha’s Hill car park and stopped at The Percy Arms for lunch. We also detoured to Shere Village for an ice cream stop. It’s a nice varied route with some shaded parts which was great for us considering it was 30c today! Highly recommend this route!

Great walk. I followed the Waymarks fine. At point 5 there is a footbridge which no longer has stiles at each end.

A lovely walk , took me (12)and my dad (45) 2 hours and 30 mins . Will definitely do it again . The trail was really easy to follow and you pass polson Lacey . We did not go into the house or gardens but we did use the free toilets . If you go quietly near the bull field you might be lucky enough to see some roe deer .

Enjoyable and comfortable trail. I don't know if I was just lucky, or this is the norm over there but I saw a ton of cows, sheep and dogs (though, the last ones accompanied with the owners). I ended up getting a cloudy sky in the morning, but it did clear up midway, which is always nice. If anyone is interested, if when you get to Westhumble you feel like you hadn't enough of hiking, I recommend checking the "Ranmore Circular" trail that you can find here on the website. I enjoyed it quite a lot. It starts on Westhumble and ends there as well, however it might be preferable to skip the last bit. Otherwise, you'll repeat the same path. Since for you to get back to Westhumble you'll have to trough a path that the "Mole Gap Trail" originally goes trough. If you want to finish on Westhumble (which I did), keep in mind that you'll have to go back again. It is a nice 15 minutes walk but I found it skippable since you don't lose anything special. (Just a suggestion) Link for the trail: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/england/surrey/ranmore-circular

We started the walk at St Martha’s Hill car park. Directions were perfect, the stunning scenery and wild life was great. Woodlands, fields and the detour to Shere a must. Definitely recommend this trail

The trail was easy to access, well marked and had lots of shade. After the first couple of kilometers there were hardly any walkers. The distance is a comfortable two hour walk. Got back in time for lunch @ home!

Pleasant walk - majority under tree cover / in woods which was lovely although meant not many views to be had on the route.

Petit marche sympa en Angleterre. Les dernières 10 minutes valent la peine avec une descente dans de belles vignes.
