Excellent walk with well marked paths, some lovely views and pubs on the way for those that want refreshment.

lovley trail . all different terrains and plenty of views . nice hour and a half walk .

Lovely walk with some beautiful views, landscapes, pretty houses and 3 great pubs! 1 reasonable climb but really not too strenuous. You could pretend it is to justify that pub lunch!

Great trail, through all sorts of different area.

Disappointing walk on mostly fenced off paths in the town. Highlight is the 10 minute part next to the canal.

Nice walk. Quite a lot of walking along tarmac roads. Also pirbright public car park access closed but diversion in place

Good trail, about 3 hrs moderate pace.

easy access and great view

Great and easy walk, took us about 4.5 hours. Two things to look out for - the social club is being demolished so the turn off on the left hand side (towards the end of the track) can be hard to miss. Look out for a narrow path about 20 meters before the road. Also at an earlier stage, when crossing the golf course, don’t turn off left as it suggests - but go straight ahead passing the barn on your left. Otherwise the instructions were absolutely brilliant!

Great short day walk from London. Perfect for visitors to the area, especially as you can include lunch at Denbies Wine Estate for a treat! Track in good conditions with some steady inclines. Lots of alternative tracks to make it shorter or longer. Highly recommend.

Nice Walk.. Took the pug on the train at the end which was fun

Ok semi-urban, semi countryside walk. Good if it’s close to you, particularly good if you like horses!

Nice walk with lots of good options to make more challenging. We left the trail in loops to go up to viewpoints which added something extra.

Interesting walk with some good variety. Good steep hill at the end.

Nice to do a more “suburban” walk. Canal then MOD forestry where we spotted a deer. Some road work but varied terrain. Gorgeous church yard. The walk alongside the A331 means you can hear the road to a degree but the ponds and nature reserve there are lovely. Lots of wildlife - we saw a white heron in the trees. Nice to see old gravel pits being returned to a natural habitat. We stopped for a drink at the end at The Rose and Thistle pub. Very welcoming and dog friendly.

some slow and steady uphill but rewarded by long downhill sections , some beautiful rolling green hills.

Nice walk instructions are a bit unclear in places

Lovely walk through the woods, the bluebells were fabulous. Trail difficult to navigate at times, definately need the Alltrails app.

Relaxing walk away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful stroll through the bluebells and lots of variety of countryside.

Just completed this walk on a breezy Saturday in April. Great to have free parking at the train station (weekends). Directions great - backed up again by the useful map. Woodland walk beautiful - hardly saw another person the whole way round. Paths very dry this time of year although obviously muddy in the winter. Some ascents but great views to London at one point. Stopped at The Barley Mow for refreshments - lovely traditional pub. So welcoming and very dog friendly inside and out. Took us about 2.5 hours excluding stops.

Great walk with lovely view from top of Crooksbury Hill. Recommend the Posh Fish Pie at The Donkey which is very dog friendly.

Great out and back, added in a little extra up to Box Hill which made for a really nice 25k.

The private land path was not open when we walked this route - can go along the road but this isn't a great solution as it just prolongs the car noise from the M25 - one to avoid I think.

Nice at beginning but a bit dull after the station when going thru built up areas. Mud was also quite deep in places

Quite quick walk, about 2,5 hours with some nice views. Lots of animals on the way all cramped in small fenced fields. I was bothered by the noise from the motorway that is quite close, often louder than the birds. All in all a nice walk but I wouldn’t do it again.

Nice walk, can get quite muddy in places! Dogs can be off lead for the majority of the walk with only one section along a quiet road.
