Awesome trail and view
Relatively quick hike without much mud. My dog enjoyed a little climbing on the way up to Harvard Falls. Great place to enjoy a peaceful lunch. Trail blazers aren’t the greatest at times.
Nice hike. Beautiful river and falls. April 8th there's some snow and ice up top. Nothing to worry about, I used my regular hikers and didn't pull out the crampons.
Muddy in the middle. Would definitely wait for it to dry out.
Mostly dry, brook crossing easy. Lots of side trails. Take a good look at trail maps. Nice view point.
Got a 9am start, a bit icy half way up and donned the spikes. Beautiful views under a bluebird sky. Poles on descend. Happy Easter!!!
Very easy work! Used regular boots. Not that muddy. Recommend for a quick hike
Beautiful hike up to the falls on Tuesday 3/23/21. The trail hugged the water so very easy to follow. Hike to lower falls was not very challenging. Icy patches going to upper falls which cut our hike short. Beautiful weather, lots of sunshine. The water was really flowing!
Steeper than I expected given the description but gorgeous day for a hike, 65 degrees and blue sky - not a cloud in sight which made for exquisite views at the top! Trail was mushy.
Definitely need micro spikes. Snow is mushy and pretty deep so expect some occasional slips. Stick recommended especially for the final stretch towards the summit.
Great hike and a wonderful day for it! The trail was getting slushy as it’s warm out today. We did use micro spikes, they were especially needed towards the top where there was more ice than slush. This is a trail with a steady incline up the whole way. You cross a few snowmobile trails on the way up. Wonderful view at the top!
Nice hike, snow pack still solid
Nice trail. Gradually incline then moderately at the end. Snowmobile trail leads to peak as well.
nice little trail, not too long. luckily there was a group of hikers ahead of me to break the trail through the snow that had fallen last night. beautiful views of the river and the waterfall.
Quiet; there were steady snow flurries throughout. Did not encounter any snowmobiles. Was quite windy at the top so didn’t hang around too long. Crampons were definitely appreciated. Overall, a nice, quick, enjoyable hike!
Hi all. Beautiful moderate hike. Recomend micro spikes. If you happen to find a car key out there, sure would appreciate a call on 603 498 1471. Thanks
Beautiful snort hike a little rough descending as ice on packed trails was quite treacherous. Over a beautiful hike
Trail was firm but riddled with postholes from earlier warmer weather. Tranquility broken by snowmobiles at the peak and on section of shared trail. Very nice view.
Definitely still spikes. I did it in Diamond Grips and they weren't up to the job at the top. Always know when it's time to turn around!
Very poorly marked. Snow starting to turn into mashed potato and found footing very difficult. snow bridges are giving way over water. bring extra dry socks!
Views are on right side of loop and out beyond the peak, no views at actual summit. Trail beyond peak was unbroken and snowshoes would be best for that part. No sign at trailhead but wide shoulder and break in granite curbing gives it away.
