Went during the week, not overly busy. Spectacular views. Very easy ride.

Rented a bike while out here and it was the highlight of my time out in YVR. Beautiful views, particularly at sunset. Lots of people but I imagine during the week it’s not as saturated with folks standing around and causing a little bit of a traffic jam. Regardless, can’t wait to come back and do it again!

very crowded when I was there.

Great hike! work out a bit of a sweat to reach the refreshing lake! awesome for a swim. Beautiful view as well.

The tails are marked, but poorly orientation wise. Many trails leading in multiple directions so be prepared to get turned around once or twice. Pay attention to the maps. I essentially spent two hours just marking out my own route - so get creative!

Great little trail! Took me about 1.5 hours return trip. Wear appropriate shoes as there’s plenty of rocks and roots to get snagged on. It was quiet when I went as it was raining lightly - none the less it was very peaceful. Orange markers guide you along the trail.

Nice walk very busy.
Better are the interior park trails as quieter.

excellent walk

terrible and poorly marked.... there are better trails in the area

The best point is at the start... after that... there isn't anything worth seeing

Nice easy walk and a must for visiting tourists, friends and family. Can get very busy on the weekends.

quite steep and difficult on the way up, but the lake at the end is so worth it!!! bring a bathing suit and towel, and enjoy! also, right off this trail is the yew lake Lookout, and that's quite breathtaking. would highly recommend this hike if you're up for a hit of a challenge.

Amazing views. Lots of bugs in certain places, so take some spray. Lots of berries along the way so we snacked all the way down. The first portion from the 2 bridges up Christmas gully at the base is very steep, lots of jagged rocks to climb, but once your up, enjoy the view, and the route down is pretty tame; compared to the start. Be prepared with proper footwear and lots of water. Coming down the trail is not well marked, so we relied on the gps to make sure we stick to the trail.

Nothing to see on a cloudy day. Just a very steep and crowded hike to a small and crowded (though pretty) lake. Also there is very loud construction happening nearby which you can hear throughout the hike.

Fun hike with a refreshing dip to cool off.

Easy “hike” with many viewpoints...almost too easy for all the amazing lookouts you are rewarded with!

Gorgeous swimming lake (late July). Even in late July we found a patch of snow around the corner. Views down to Vancouver centre.

Probably my favourite park around Vancouver. Here you get to enjoy both the majestic west coast forest in its original state and beautiful ocean vistas. Highly recommended,

Lovely walk with some very good views. Vancouverites are very lucky to have such an amazing park right in the centre!

If you come back on the West Canyon trail it is much better to make this a loop instead of out and back. Great views.

Scenic beauty along sea wall

The view along this walk is amazing. Lots of great sights and many places to stop for a few and relax. A walk you shouldn’t pass up

Beautiful walk in the woods. Enjoyed the sound of rushing water and the birds singing and flying all over the place. The signage is not clear, pay attention to your map . Thumbs down just because of signage, otherwise it is a beautiful place with quite well maintained trails.

The hike was basically a 15 min walk, so if you are expecting to hike for a good hour or two, this is not the one for you.The view is very pretty though.

The loop is not open since BC Hydro doesn't want to spend the money needed to upgrade the floating bridge across Harsine inlet. contact Hydro to protest

The view at the top is breathtaking. A full 360degree panoramic view, with The Lions up close is a can’t miss opportunity. Please bring BUG SPRAY! I couldn’t enjoy the view to the fullest as the amount flies was overwhelming. Hiking up in July comes with muddy and snowy conditions as well so something to keep in mind. If you see « christmas gully » on your map, this portion is not easy! Trail is not clear, lots of snow, and the lack of markers makes it difficult not to be lost. The view made it all worth it.

A nice hike. Hard to find trail markers in some areas.

I wish the description or reviews mentioned it is pay to park ($3.50 per hour).

just hiked nearly 9 kilometers on this Trail it was fantastic you can go to Vancouver Island on the west coast to Tofino and ucluelet but this is right up there with those trails that you'll find there
