Great hike, not too difficult but not too easy. Trail is well kept, and the views are great on the first half of the hike. A lot of bugs by the lake, as expected this time of the year. Overall a good trail and since it's on the PCT you can always hike further.

Great trail. Beach is ok.

loved this trail very beautiful my husband and I went with our 3 kids walked the Franklin trail to the falls and the wagon trail back to the care.

My happy place

Hiked this 7/7/18 absolutely beautiful, loved being right by the raging water and all of the bridge crossings. Major bridge is crossable but at a slant. Parking and bathroom facilities available at trailhead.

Went today with the family.. beautiful weather. Not a lot of people. Was a little confused it said trail #1177 on direction but when we got there it was #1176, we just rolled with it and glad we did. 2 miles in we ended up at a lake (not sure if it's Echo or Lost lake) but if you keep going about a mile your ended up at another lake.

nice easy trail with beautiful views)

Went yesterday for the first time and it was a really cool hike! Went in the water for a little bit, couple neat spots for that. Falls are awesome. Not too long of a hike or difficult

Great for toddlers

Great views. Quite a few stairs. Wagon road trail will also get you to the falls with different views (forest vs rivers) but when coming back to the parking lot seemed easier so maybe doing the loop the opposite way (wagon road to the falls and the franklin falls back to the car) would be easier for someone with any knee issues.

Excellent hike! Beautiful shaded and lots of variety.

Beautiful waterfall and the river is really nice to hang out by after hiking. If you have a baby I definitely recommend baby carrying, the trail is too rocky and steep for a stroller. The hills walking back are steep and a little difficult but it’s a great walk.

Really enjoyed this

Great time at the Lake today! The water was so clear and lots of fish were jumping. It is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon. There wasn’t a lot of people out and the road getting there was paved and well maintained unlike a lot of FSR’s I’ve been down. This was a very great discovery.

Yes, just go! Take your whole family. It will be worth it. Parking is 5$ cash.

Beautiful trail...great place for beginners to experience hiking.

Easy hike, short with many families. I took Nook Trail off Bus Trail. Nook Trail is more difficult and has a climb. Not for children or beginners. There’s not much to see at the top but it’s a good training trail for my hike later this Summer in Lolo Lolo National Forest in Montana.

Great little hike if you are crunched on time but want a serene view. I'm new to the PNW and I feel like this offers a great glimpse even though it's in such an urban area. Down sides would be minimal parking and is highly trafficked.

Super easy trail. Lots of cover from the trees. Easy hike for families

Beautiful and well maintained. Such a nice walk. Returning back is a lot of uphill. Great cardio. LOTS of people on a Sunday. A little noisy if you’re looking for peaceful nature.

Beautiful - lots of trails!

Massive waterfall, excellent views from several lookout points. Rest on rocks at base of falls trail on the river’s edge. Steep incline trek to the top. Saw all ages and skill type hiking. Dogs welcome, but be sure to bring them plenty of water! Clean restrooms located at both trailheads. Very busy, but people were courteous in sharing viewpoint spaces.

Trail is not super well marked. We ended up out of the park without even realizing it. Encountered at least 5 other groups of people who didn't turn around at the falls bridge and had no clue where they were going. There are no trail markings indicating that you are leaving Twin Falls trail.

Beautiful trail. It is a good trail through rich green shades.
