I snowshoed this trail in march and it was so fun! Flat, and accessible. Some were mountain biking it.

We headed out early today to hike the “Trifecta!”
And we were not disappointed!!
We read a lot of the reviews for all of the Falls!
Very EASY to get to if you use Google Directions!
We also left the navigation on. All trails are one after the other! And there is a sign that states the mileage to Moon and Pinard after Spirit...Granted there is not a “distinctive sign” for Spirit Falls but if you track to mileage the trail sign is easy to spot! We hiked Spirit Falls first. Then drove to Moon Falls (big sign when you arrive) and the drove up to Pinard! (Good signage for this trail too) Falls were beautiful!!
Doing all three trails was a nice workout and peaceful hike! This is the perfect time of year to hike these trails when it’s dry!
We headed back home going towards Cottage Grove instead of taking the 5847 back to Hwy 58. Much nicer route home as we live in Eugene.
Awesome day!

very good place! The stairs were a lot for me but made it through

Beautiful hike but didn't realize the number of stairs involved. Expected a few but those of us plus 70's with hip and knee issues had to take the stairs and stone steps slow and easy. The heighth of the stone stairs varied greatly. We also found that a few areas we're beginning to erode away, making some areas a little difficult. But with all that said, it was one of the best hikes we have ever taken.

just went yesterday with 5 grandkids and it was great. ranging in age from 7 to 14 years old. We started from fern ridge road, up the gravel road by the cows to the trail head. took a break there at a picnic table and started up the trail. kids loved the falls and the stairs. Ended up at the campground for lunch. Left Salem at 8.30 and were back home by 1.30. just a great day!

Amazing place

Wonderful trail! 7miles out and back. Pretty easy hike, mostly flat the entire time. Dogs loved it as well! You follow the river for majority of the hike with beautiful views of the river and mountains. People also mountain bike on this trail. You can also just drive to the falls by following the road to the every end. (Lost of cars parked there) The falls were amazing!! Breath taking!! You can get very close to them and potentially even underneath them, but we did not try. We did the hike the first week of October:) highly recommend!

Maybe this is a good hike for inner-city folks looking to take in some “nature”. Not so much a hike as a short nature walk.

Not my cup of tea - the entry “trail” is a gravel road through private property, followed by short trails to a couple little falls. One of the falls is right on the road, which is good for access, I suppose. We walked to two more falls that were kind of neat, but wouldn’t go back.

In all fairness, we “hiked” this early summer, and the falls are probably considerably more voluminous and spectacular mid-winter, but be prepared for mud of hiking to the other two falls.

Beautiful waterfalls and an easy hike to see all of them. This one I ranked lower only because it gets pretty congested with many other hikers and dodging the bikes get challenging. Road to trailhead is gravel but no problems navigating around the occasional pothole. Parking is a problem if you don’t get there early.

Awesome hike, forest is green and luscious. Hike was good, and weather was perfect. no rain, mud or snow.(even had first time hikers with us and everyone made it up and down) fall was an incredible sight. 100% must see. Falls flowing. We saw folks with dogs, children and bikes.

Nice! Great little fall hike.

Beautiful area, very short hike

great trail for kids and dogs

Shellburg Falls has barely any water as of 9/8/18. You start out walking at least a mile or so on a gravel road that wasn’t impressive at all but you pass cows. But the area is still pretty and it was nice to walk behind the fall. Went on to find Stassel falls which isn’t marked at all and we found it by just following a kind of overgrown trail. It’s a pretty waterfall as well but you can’t see it like I thought. Overall an easy trail with decent falls. Probably better in winter/spring.

My boyfriend and I did this trail a month ago and it was a simple trail till you got trying trail to get down to the pool. My boyfriend and I had a blast finding it but is difficult to find. I would highly recommend this pool it’s so beautiful and so worth the hike.

Pretty area. Easy hiking!

a little steep but completely doable and only 1/4 of a mile.

A long, long time ago with another wife;s family. Great place... We were there on a rare beautiful calm day.

Great loop!

little effort for large reward. the walk is easy, a few uneven rocky sections but nothing bad and the pool is awesome. started early and was nice and quiet but got busy on the way out.

Easy, scenic hike with a massive payoff at the end.

This is a cute hike with lots to see at the beginning of the trail. The trail up follows the river at your right then you make your way up a rocky path to the top. Do yourself a favor and make a conscious effort to avoid stepping on the jagged rocks on your way up the path.

I wish that I had a bit more time to make my way down to the pool, next time for sure. That blue in the pool is just impressive. This is a must see.

Nice easy going hike in and out, could not believe how gorgeous the water was! I’ve been talking about going to see this wonder for a couple of years and was finally able to see what the hubbub was about. Well worth the effort to get to the pool and experience how truly cold that water is. Loved It!

Hike itself was really easy and boring, but the scenery is spectacular.

Love the waterfalls and a great short refreshing hike with the kids

This is one of my favorite sub-1 hour hikes in and around Lebanon. There can be a lot of people in the park on any given weekend, but most evenings it’s fairly low traffic. The upper trails are narrow and are feeling a bit overgrown but it’s still gorgeous.

I walk the loop counter clockwise from the bottom lot and get the stair climb out of the way early which makes the rest of the path a breeze.

Great hike.

one waterfall is very low, otherwise great

Love it. Great pool to float in, but best seen with full light in June midday.
