After all the rain the Southern Tier received this week, water levels were high but not exorbitantly so - you could still see the shale formations under the stream and behind the waterfalls, and many tributary creeks were flowing in the woods. Perfectly gorgeous hike on a beautiful, cool, party-sunny day, a rarity this summer! It was an excellent workout, too. I would very highly recommend these trails, and hope to come back soon.

Beautiful hike through the Gorge! A moderately difficult hike mainly due to slippery rocks, stairs, and tourists stopping to take pictures. The view of the rocks and waterfalls along the path were wonderful. I will definitely be back!

DON'T TAKE THE INDIAN TRAIL... We started hiking gorge and from Jacob's ladder we headed back on Indian trail, the gorge trail as the name suggests is awesome but gets crowded but worth it. The Indian trail has maybe 1-2 viewing points and it doesn't have anything that makes us feel that we are at a glen... So just make sure you get back in the gorge itselff

Amazing trail. I was initially disappointed that it was raining my only day in Ithaca but turned out for the best. There were hardly any people to contend with and it cooled me off on what couldn’t been a tough hike/trail run. I did a lollipop loop where I started at the south lot took a left halfway through to get the rim trail and then got back on the gorge trail at the north lot. Another advantage to parking the south lot was a cold refreshing dip afterwards!

We started from the south lot so we did all the elevation first, a lot of steps and inclines in this direction but not terrible. The views are spectacular from the rim and the gorge side once alongside the falls. The step on the rim trail took a good bit of effort but I was looking for that. If you’re looking for an easier route than you could Park 2 cars, one at each lot and start from the north to mostly skip the inclines. Really amazing spot and well maintained.

A beautiful hike for all ages. Not to hard. Being able To see the narrows, waterfalls, bridges all in one hike. It does get crowded but was still very enjoyable.

Definitely a well maintained man made trail. A good workout and a beautiful view.

Not very busy. Very steep in a few places. Falls were a bit dried up but still pretty.

Hit a hive a ground bees on green trail off of this trail...very bad...just warning anyone who takes white trail to be careful they swarmed us and stung us

Love it a great short easy walk to get outside and a waterfall at the end

Nice set of trails. Word of warning to watch your foot in if it just recently rained. Trails can be very slick and steep! Very nice walk with the dogs however! Definitely recommended for a nice trek and many trails to weave through! Also watch for dogs off leash apparently!

Very lovely views, lots of nice spots to sit along the way. SOOO MANY STEPS! Picnic area was very nice. One of the better waterfall hikes upstate.

on White Trail

I went on the White trail at first and then went on the Red trail so I could have a view of the bay. My mom and I ended up getting lost, but we had a fun time. There was so many bugs.

Absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to go back

Very cool spot. Lots of traffic but great scenery. Lots of amphibians along the rock wall mixed in with all the ferns, moss and wildflowers. Overlooked due to the rushing water. Hiked all the way to the end than came back on the Indian trail crossed the mile bridge and continued to the end on the upper ridge trail.

beautiful! the stairs at the end are killer tho haha

Lots of vertical change. Trail heavily trafficked. Not to bad around dusk.

Me and my dad did this loop in September 2017. The landscape is unique and combined with cascading 8 water falls makes the hike even more rewarding. We loved the hike and is fairly easy without much elevation gain. Plenty of opportunity for photo shoot. Parking is 8$ but under two hours, it is free as most of the roadside parking is just for 2 hours. So this hike is easily doable in 2 hours. Just a pro tip.

Great hike pretty steep in some areas

Beautiful trail and scenic waterfalls and streams.

The bridge is very cool but most of the trails are overgrown with vegetation.

Beautiful park with spectacular views of many waterfalls. Multiple stone stairs take you up, down, behind and close up to the falls. Great experience!

It was very fun but very heavily trafficked.

Nice trail and well shaded. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Each water fall is fantastic and there are multiple spots to take a dip. The stone work and stairs make it seem like some pathway to a castle out of a movie.
