Fun trail. Beautiful bamboo forest on the river and great views from the hills.

This is great trail and I enjoyed with My kids. It’s a must for all hikers!
Not the full trail. Lots of fun.
Nice trail but doesn’t take you to bamboo forest
The bamboo forest was cool, the trails are confusing. Small parking lot that was full so I had to park in a neighborhood and walk there. Everything south of north Georgia just isn’t very pretty in my opinion. And there’s too many people.
Nice trail! Sorry to miss the bamboo forest.
The map doesn’t take you to the bamboo forest, but this recording does.
Nice relaxing trail. Not too many people on a Monday afternoon. Tree fell over on the second bridge and it was out of order. Also, wish the bamboo forest wasn't out of the way.
I slipped and fell on one of the steps going down where the trail is all glittery. Oww. And I’m wearing good hiking shoes too
Challenging for a weekend warrior but so beautiful!
Great hike! If you're looking for the bamboo forest make sure you follow (E26). Trail was well marked. Also once you've reached the bamboo forest walk past it until you've reached the last sign. Walk past the sign, there are some rocks you can climb; great view of the river up there.
Lovely warm evening. The frogs were out in numbers.
Such a great trail. Will be doing it again and again.
This was a great local trail in Atlanta! Great via of the city and the bamboo forest was fun! I would suggest going to the bamboo forest first before going to the scenic overlook. To get to the bamboo forest, follow the signs to market 26 (the very end of the river). The map AllTrails provides won’t actually take you to the bamboo forest otherwise, but it’s worth seeing
This map didn't take us to the bamboo forrest. This recording goes there.
Very beautiful! A group of Ladies GA Women Who Hiking! Early Sunday morning! Great views of the Chattahoochee River
parking lot was pretty empty at 10am Sat. The bamboo forest is pretty nice. overall a really nice location to get out of the city!
Came out here two weekends in a row - it’s gorgeous! The bamboo forest was quite a walk with two kids but definitely worth it, as was the overlook. Lots of people on the trails closer to the river but the inner trails were less congested. One of our favorites for sure.
only way to enjoy this Trail is to go on a non-busy day, otherwise it's packed!! Also, go when it's not too hot or after a lot of rain because it will be too muddy. The trail is well marked. The hike to the bamboo forest is about 2.3 miles( E26). It's a moderate to strenuous hike depending on your fitness level. Beautiful scenery.
Very clean and easy to follow trail! Also it was challenging but doable for me as a beginner.
