Best part is you can hike straight from the parking lot, no waiting in line for the tram (1.5hr wait all day on a Tuesday). Wonderful photo opportunities. Not the most interesting hike in Zion but still worthwhile.

Scenic. We hiked in the afternoon which was ideal as it was shaded. Majestic views all around! We hiked from the 6th tram stop back down to the 5th. Enjoyable.

This trail was well populated with families, as it should be (keep them off Angel's Landing!!!) It's an idyllic hike to a cool pool, with many opportunities along the way to drop into the river. I'd recommend this for a hot summer day because of the access to water.

A lovely hike if you're looking for a trail that takes you by (and in) water. It'll cool you off a little if you're a summer hiker.

Easy trail. Nice views through the valley. Only 3 stars as it is just not comparable at all to some of the other hikes you can do in Zion. If you only have one day in Zion and are happy to do a harder hike I would suggest hiking Angel’s Landing (even if you don’t do the chains) or Observation Point.

Middle and upper pools are closed I would save your time and energy for another hike. Was extremely crowded around 10:30-11 am when we went.

this was the only trail we could do in the time we had as we arrived at 5 and left at 7. you take shuttles to the various trails which took up some time. The valley was shady. the pool was not spectacular but the trickling water was nice to see and hear. Views of the peaks with the setting sun striking them from the shadowed path. easy hike.

fun little walk

Scenic trail with good views and leading to a small waterfall.

Fantastic views!! It’s a quick hike, so a great start to a full day in the park. I suggest to hike this in the morning with the sun in the east.

The hike to the look out is very rocky and not much to look at, but the overlook once you get there is AMAZE!! Pretty easy hike, just annoying as it feels like you’re walking through a dried up river.

Hiked this in the spring and once before. Fun but quite crowded.

Morning Run - very nice view

Watchman is a nice, short, easy hike with a great little 360° loop at the end, giving you views in all directions.

I really enjoyed this hike with the running water of the Virgin River next to some of it. The waterfall was nice and there’s so much to look at along the way.

Great hike up. It challenged the kids a little and the payoff of views at the end were wonderful.

Due to flood damage we were only able to hike the lower emerald pool. Not a bad hike but nothing overly special either. I’m sure it would have been a much better hike if we had access to the middle and upper pools.

Did this hike and added the Grotto Trail. The Upper Pool is crowded and is difficult to get pics without people in the Pool. Many People were in the Pool with no Consideration for others taking photos.

Absolutely stunner view and what a payoff! The approach is quite muggy and hotter than surrounding areas. The payoff was stunner and we spent an hour alone there. Good option for those with a 4 legged friend that are blocked out of zion.

Beautiful views! Did it in July during the middle of a hot afternoon. Not unbearable but it was hot. Make sure you take lots of water if you are considering doing the same.

This train is hot but there is a great place to cool off at the top AND when you get done, get in the water! The Virgin River is relatively warm and shallow and a great way to end the hike.

Absolutely amazing trail. It gets hot on a July afternoon but would totally do this one again the views along the whole trail were stunning and the “end” of the trail was an amazing lookout point for the south part of the park. I took some amazing photos. Absolutely beautiful!!!

It’s really pretty if you go to the upper pools, there are a lot of people and kids who almost knock you over coming up. Beautiful sights the whole way up the upper pool is breathtaking. Please remember not to go in the pools as it is a source of water for the wildlife

Quick. Shady. Some good views. VERY crowded. Simple hike to do with the family. We seem to stop in at the pools after doing a few other hikes.

Nice, fairly easy trail. When we went the pool levels were down so not as scenic as it normally would be in the spring.

Great hike in Zion, trail leads to three different stops. You can take the paved trail to the first pool and then turn back, or go on to the other two pools. The trail gets more difficult after the first pool.

Great hike! The first mile maybe difficult for those with back or stability issues. It does level out and is worth the breath taking views at the top. Take a lunch and relax for a bit at the top.

Easy, crowded, but a fun hike to all three pools (upper, middle, lower). The upper-pool isn't much to see (honestly), but the lower waterfalls are gorgeous! Short, quick, easy hike with cool views of Zion features.
