Spectacular even on a cool November day!

Fantastic dog friendly trail.

BUT - why do people let their dogs off leash and leave filled poop bags on the trail?

nice slot canyon at the upper end of hike. beautiful foilage for fall colors.

Beautiful trail but not marked well. Park at the Sand Cove trailhead and follow the Flicker trail until you see signs for Arch trail. There are cairns to mark trail. We pretty much followed the footprints. The arch is not to far from the river on your right hand side as you go down the big sand hill ( which is a little tough going back up!) We went down to the river. The arch is easily seen on the way back... this time on your left. Definitely bring a lot of water. Great hike. Definitely use a GPS.

Make sure you go all the way to end. I found the trail to be more on the easy side as opposed to moderate. There were people with kids and dogs hiking with no problem. Not crowded.

Nice short hike

The hike was beautiful! The water was very cold!

Very cool place. Caves #1 and #2 are the best. Cave #1 you can sleep in —plenty of flat ground. None of the rest are suitable for camping.

Beautiful area with great scenery. We got to the rope on the wall and didn't continue on. I didn't have any issue getting up the wall, but I think it would be hard for kids to do... if they were successful getting up it, it is quite different coming back down. It was too bad there was a super annoying group at the end being extremely noisy, because it would have been great to be able to spend some time there just taking everything in.

Easy hike however, very short 1.5 out and back of you stop at the rope on the wall.

We stayed the night in Cedar City after visiting Bryce and Zion. This is the PERFECT hike to end the weekend before heading back to Vegas to fly out. This is a pretty easy hike. There are no markings but you can easily follow the trail. The water follows the trail most of the way so if it’s a fresh rain it may be pretty muddy. Fitbit said we did 4.93 in 3:49 with numerous stops.

Amazing views all the way to Zion. Fun candy colored cliffs that you can play on. What could be better?!?

amazing!!

Such a beautiful hike the entire way!!! I wish I was wearing more water appropriate shoes. It makes me want to buy Chacos. I hiked in my hiking boots and it took two days to air them out haha. There was a forest fire on the day I went and the sky was this gorgeous orange color even tho it was around noon time. The orange sky bouncing off the colors of the walls of the creek and the slot canyon were to die for. I want to bring friends here and see it again!

Great short trail. Super easy to access with a fair amount of traffic. Did this with my wife and big lab mix. There was no water flowing when we were there but I’m sure it’s amazing when it’s running. There is not a ton of shade mid-day so even on days that aren’t super hot (it was about 80 when we went) bring a ton of water - especially for the pups. We had to turn back before the end since the dog was starting to struggle with the heat. Two thumbs way up.

This was a really fun hike! If you have small children you might want to bring a child carrier for some parts. It would have been even cooler if the river was there, will try again in the rainy seasons.

Hiked all the way to the second ladder but did not go up the second ladder. It was supposed to be decommissioned, also there were a few people struggling with it and we didn’t feel like waiting so we turned around.
Water level was ankle-high most of the way, only hip-high in a few spots. Beautiful trail! Make sure you wear proper shoes. I wore water shoes which worked fine. The trail was moderately trafficked this last Saturday afternoon in September.

Awesome trail, must wear proper waterproof hiking shoes.

Cactus still blooming on
May 25th. Go early to beat the heat.

First half of the trail is very hot and dusty. Cools off substantially when you hit the narrows and the shade. Lots of hiking through water, sometimes almost waist deep. The best part of the trail comes after you get past the first ladder. That first ladder is quite dangerous so climb carefully and make sure your footing is secure. The trail was closed after the second ladder because there was some sort of accident involving it the prior weekend. It looked much scarier than the first ladder. Overall, amazing hike with spectacular views.

Fun easy trail. Do this one the first half of the day then cool down hiking Kannara Falls the second half! Be sure to bring enough water, it’s a long hike that’s sometimes very hot.

This hike was beautiful once you get past the dirt road going in you'll be hiking in and out of the water so please wear the right footwear. walking through the Narrows with a beautiful red rock is breathtaking.

This hike is beautiful! There are a couple of challenging spots, the second ladder is a bit unsettling. Water feels good! I don’t recommend wearing flip flops. Something water proof and sturdy. This hike is definitely one to do again!

September 7th, Incredible hike! The color contrast and sounds combine for an amazing experience. It’s an easy hike with two gorgeous waterfalls inside a slot canyon. We hiked just past the second of the waterfall and then turned around. The entire hike took just under 3 hours from the parking lot (we took our sweet time because of the incredible vistas). Highly recommend it.
Only complaints are the $9 per person fee can get steep for a large family and of course that no dogs are allowed, I get it, but still.

One of my favorite hikes of all time. Walking through the river in a slot canyon. Deep in some places. I'm 5'8" got up to mid thigh. This hike starts off slow but once you start the river nothing short of amazing.
