Beautiful trail with lots of sandstone to climb on. We started here and then headed toward Butterfly trail and got to experience so many different kinds of terrain from sand to volcano tubes there was not one bad place for a picture; just stunning.

This is a great hike for beginning to intermediate hikers. Though rated "easy" the stairs and climb at the end up to the cave is a steep slog. So be prepared with plenty of water. The walk through the cottonwoods is beautiful. The lava rock formations along the way make for some great scenery. It's a full 2 miles to the cave and 2 miles back, though the app lists it a little shorter.

Fun easy family hike. Great reward at end of reaching the cave. Awesome views.

The kids absolutely loved hiking around and playing in the sand. My senior parents were able to make the short trek with us, and sat watching the grandkids play. We will definitely be back!

We love this hike. It’s a regular for us. It’s beautiful. But it’s really popular so arrive early. We got in at 7:30 am and had the whole trail to ourselves. By the time we left the little parking lot was full.

I didn't go on any trails. Started at the North entrance and hiked through all the rocks and everything to the South entrance. Loved it.

We went left at the fork. Easy, short walk to the overlook. The white rocks are beautifully contrasted by the red rocks in the distance. Parts of the trail are a bit sandy.

Great hike! A couple of challenging areas but worth the view!

It was a lovely hike only 9 minutes from our campground at Quail Creek. The first bit is dog friendly, but once we hit the waterfall, our setters couldn’t scale the rocks with the footholds (and they are pretty good scramblers). In fact, my husband ended up in the water to his armpits when one slipped down and took him with them. (Unfortunately, iPhone and all). I would definitely go back without the dogs if we were staying longer.

Our family did this hike today. The kids swam in the swimming holes by two of the waterfalls. This was such a beautiful hike. We will definately be back to visit. Gorgeous scenery amd the weather was perfect, 78 degrees.

Absolutely Beautiful. The picture doesn’t due it’s justice! I recommend to anyone!

Great trail one day is not enough to explore everything.

Great trail! It does get challenging for beginners after the second waterfall.

Very easy to get to the amphitheater. Lots of exploring can be done once there so the difficulty depends on you!

The cave is awesome! Kids loved seeing lizards and birds.

Easy trail almost 1.5 miles. The only challenge are the steps other than that.... beautiful scenery!

Nice fun hike. There’s some pretty views along the way and the cave is beautiful. It’s good night hike because the view of the city lights is stunning. Good trail run!
