Second time on the trail. Did the loop counter clockwise this time and enjoyed it more. Saw. BEAR and CUB scurrying up a tree but watching us closely!!!! Very cool and humbling.

Such a fun loop! A few places you’ve got to get your feet wet. A little crowded at the trailhead but it opens up as you pass he waterfall. Even a chance to swim in the falls at the end.

This nature walk has been a tradition in my family for years. I always loved going every year a child and now bringing my children. Bring a good picnic and make a day.

Bring a trash bag and take some styrofoam out with you! After all the flooding the falls are surrounded by little bits of it. If we don’t take it out, it’ll stay there.

Abandoned plan to hike to Table Rock because it seemed to hot for my dog to leave the cooling off creeks behind.
About a third of the way in to Carricks Creek I came around a bend and there was a small black bear right in front of me (about 20 yd), he saw me at the same time and he casually turned around and trotted back direction Carrick Creek
This is a very nice easy loop trail if you want to stay near the water.

Great little trail! There are three or four areas that are moderately difficult to traverse but overall very relaxing. You cross three wet areas. To stay dry you have to cross some rock areas but overall very nice. Great reward at the end!

The parking lot is unimproved dirt and is medium sized so it fills quickly. (I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls Trail leads to a popular swimming area at the base of the falls and is only minutes from the parking lot. After an easy walk to view this small falls, double back, cross the bridge, and head uphill to the beautiful Triple Falls and further up to High Falls. At Triple Falls there is a long set of wooden steps that lead you to a flat rock landing between the 2nd and 3rd falls and is an excellent spot to view and photograph all three of the Triple Falls. (Don't miss this.) The viewing area has a single wire cable preventing visitors from straying too near the falls but kids could walk right under it. High Falls is a beautiful, long double cascade with a covered bridge at the top and can be easily seen from the viewing area along the trail.

A great kid friendly trail with beautiful waterfalls.

I agree with others, start left and ascend with the creek on your left. Many opportunities to stick you feet in the water, if you want to. Several slippery spots, I wished I had brought my walking stick.

The hike is super steep so wear the right shoes. Gorgeous falls and completely worth the hike.

short walk, nice small falls, good place for swimming and kids. lots of people there on a hot summer day because of easy access and short walk to parking.

Quick walk if you just want to see the falls.

Great views throughout the hike. Pretty easy for the most part. There are some awesome photo opportunities with the falls in the background as well!

Nice easy hike that leads to a really cool swimming hole. Unfortunately got caught in the rain, but would normally be an awesome spot to hangout!

I've hiked this trail many times. the last time was about 6 years ago when my wife and I were dating. since there was the big fire and a flood. The trail has changed a little bit but is still an AMAZING adventure! 3 kids later, my wife and I returned and took all of our boys on the trail. the trail begins with a small fall at the trail head. I suggest going to the left when hiking as it is a big loop. going up on the left means you go up with the creek as a distraction to your ascent. cool little wooden bridges and areas to climb out onto rocks in the river to get kids excited about hike as well as a nice distraction. On descent, beautiful rock/river formations in the forest and of couse the "Indian Cave" I always show my boys...a rock formation I use as a landmark to let them know we are winding down the hike. Bring something to splash in as you arrive back at the falls and there is a splash pool provided by Mother Nature, Herself! NO DRONES...PARK RULES as Osprey attack them. Take the family..ENJOY! Go early, come back and go swimming in the Table Rock swimming area vomplete with HIGH DIVE!! Sno cones, ice cream, fishing, boating, MILES of more trails!! Can you tell? WE LOVE TABLE ROCK AND THIS TRAIL! !

This use to be one of my favorite waterfalls but they had it roped off at the bottom of the stairs so you couldn’t walk out and chill on the rocks anymore.

Awesome hike! Beautiful and easy! My husband, 3 year old son, and I completed this trail. Well worth the drive.

A lot of fun

One of the best swimming holes around!

Went with our 4 kids when it was pouring raining. Some precarious parts but it made it an adventure! Awesome hike

This is such a beautiful waterfall. Once you get to the falls find a nice rock to chill on and enjoy its peacefulness!

Great hike along the creek with lots of places to get in and enjoy the water. Great for dogs.

This is a fun and easy hike. We saw a number of multi-generational families enjoying the trail today. Definitely suggest adding the Hooker Falls hike to this loop. Hooker Falls has the best place to get in and enjoy a short but cold swim. Wear closed-toed shoes fir the hike though. The gravel is killer.

Easley loop around the lake. Pretty scenic hike. Came across a black bear on the trail. He quickly ran away after seeing us and us making noise.

This trail was great! A little longer than expected. Also Holly Trail was closed last week so we weren’t able to get back to our car that way. We had to walk by the highway to get to the parking lot. But other than that, it was a great workout. Now that we’re more familiar with the way, we will definitely be going back!

Monday July 2nd the road was closed 700 feet from the trailhead. Huge trucks were dropping off construction vehicles and a car in front of us decided to drive past the road closure sign. They circled back around to let us know the workers told them the trail was closed due to repair.

Just wanted to give people a heads up :) Try staircase falls 10 min away

Very pretty hike. A little difficult due to recent downed trees and mudslides. Had to do the limbo a few times!

Much of the trails have been ruined by all the flooding... the trip can be dangerous for Dogs and small children... serious multiple story drop offs on tight trails... but it’s a great trek and the water falls is beautiful!
