One of my favorite hikes! A lot of technical trails, rocky, hiking shoes a must. I took this on up to Cahuenga Peak, then to the back of the Hollywood Sign. If you like hikes that'll keep you on your toes, you'll love this one.

Definitely not easy but a great hike!

this was more of a walk than a hike very flat and pretty much asphalt all the way around and the fence didn't help the view at all but we still had a good time

Love this trail especially all the tide pools at the end...

I definitely miss this trail I really hope they reopen it with a cleaner image, it was definitely one of Rancho's hidden gems.

wonderful views!

One of my favorite hikes in the area. There are a few parts with brief inclines (it is the mountains afterall) and you will need to navigate roots & rocks as well as walk through the creek to get to the waterfall. Should NOT be rated easy since it is natural earth & not a graded trail, although it is very short & not too strenuous at all. In June it was a bit buggy, but the fall area was a butterfly nursery. Thousands of them. Watch for stinging nettle & snakes.

If you’re willing to go off trail a little bit, it’s the most fun spot in Malibu

Sapphire Falls is closed until April 2019. Here is the link with the details:

This is one of my favorite hikes. I would not rate it as easy. Each time I hiked it, I went home sore. Good workout. :)

muy bien

Nice hike. Veryeasy and great views, there's the MASH area where the TV show was filmed..

Beautiful views! After hiking to the Wisdom Tree, we continued past Cahuenga Peak to get to the Hollywood sign. That section was challenging in parts, but worth the view!

Arrived at 8am. Easy trail with ok scenery but WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE for my liking. There were literally tours groups of 15+ on the trail. Impossible to have your own space and enjoy nature.

Enjoyable hike with lots of shady spots and water stops near the creek, making this warm midday hike great!

There are spots where you need to climb a little bit, making it kinda tricky if you have a dog...even a larger agile dog. However, with a few lifts to aid my pup we managed.

Moderately travelled trail on a Sunday, but with enough space between hikers to feel you are alone.

Also, a lot of bugs however they were all mostly ladybugs so no big deal.

Overall greatly enjoyed this hike!

Nice, easy walk through lower Arroyo Seco on a wide equestrian path (no bikes allowed). Nice views of the historic Colorado Street Bridge, and near the stables there are stairs leading up to San Pasqual Avenue if you want more cardio.

Great loop! Beautiful views and easy walkway (semi paved). Both the Rock Pool and Century Lake are well worth seeing!

NOT FOR BABIES/TODDLERS! We meant to take Innsdale Dr but ended up here (my fault). It has a very steep and narrow incline - super difficult babywearing a 2 yr old and 3 month old. I was also 3 months postpartum and it was a big workout for me - had to stop regularly on the way up. Still giving it 5 stars because it’s an intense workout and the view is great. We didn’t attempt to go over to the sign because of the kids, recommend Innsdale drive trailhead if you want to see the sign really well.

You can stay on the main path, or veer off for little challenges. Great spot

I took my eleven year old son on this bike loop. If you want to go kid slow or faster this is for you. Allot of the loop is shaded by old oak trees. It has plenty of parking. The first half has a slight incline (almost unnoticeable) the second half you get to do some coasting. My son liked that part. Path is plenty wide for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Beautiful views and some decent climbs. I Highly recommend it :)

I did this as a cool down from the Hollywood sign hike. Don't really like the fences that are up, but I get it. Also was just too flat for me. This hike is good for a nice easy walk. Saw a couple deer while I was here.

I love starting here for the Hollywood sign hike because of the steep start. Definitely worth it.

It’s a good workout trail, if it’s not too hot keep going to the Hollywood sign. Note: it can get quite crowded with loud people.

Really fun trail! I suggest you pack light and leave electronics in the car though . You do have to get in the water and swim up to climb the mini waterfall to continue the trail. Not sure if they’re open yet though.
