The views took my breath away! Freaking amazing!! Be careful when climbing the rocks near to the cliffs, you can get really good shots from there. It is a really easy trial, nothing really tough.

Trail is easy to get to... no 4WD needed.. and well maintained.

The sky was really clear today and that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views from here. The trial is moderate, well maintained. Not dogs allowed.

My 1st time there. Took my dogs and did about 5 miles. Beautiful options and lots of trails, i’ll definitely go back and figure out the trail system better because we went a bit off course on accident and that always makes me nervous!

Dog shit central.

My wife and I hike this almost daily. There are many trials and a road that circles around.the mid point of the hill. There are great views of the rogue valley and the surrounding areas.

Great hike and view of the Rogue Valley/Medford area. Make sure to find the small path to rocky ledge area when you get to the top for the view. Great sunset views and even if you get locked in, there’s a number to call so rangers let you out lol

Beautiful views! Can’t wait to go back

Wonderful hike! Easy access. The views from the summit are worth the climb. Interesting manzanita trees with red bark were viewed along the way.

The trail is wide and traversed it with ease. Great views at the top and a great way to spend a few hours. Bring binoculars to see all the activity from the edge.

Beautiful hike with nice even trails and loads of butterflies and wildflowers. We hiked in thinking the weather was fine and then a lightning storm came through. Not the safest place to be for that, but the dark and wild sky with the clearing at the lookout was surreal. I will definitely hike this again next time I'm in town.

Trail was slightly overgrown, the amount bumblebees and flies was insane! Considering the whole valley is on fire to the west the smoke was minimal.

Did it twice this year in the month of July. I believe Soda mountain road (to get to the pct ) is closed. So don't waste a trip out there! Beautiful hike with lots of views

Wonderful Hike!

Easy trail to Mill Creek and Barr Creek falls. Just stay on the main wide path and follow it to the right when you come to the first junction. There are signs, so you should find it. If you go left, it'll take you to the boulders. You can scramble down right before Mill Creek if you want to get closer but it is very steep. Worth it if you're able to get down there though. Otherwise, both falls are viewable from the main trail.

it was very nice hike

Very pretty hike with great views. Easy enough that my 4 year old daughter was able to do the entire thing herself. Recommended for young hikers and/or novices.

Hiked in May. Yes, the views are awesome. But the fact that you can pretty much drive to the summit hurts the impact a little. Steep slope; this is a challenge if you are going straight up. Moderate if you are going more around the summit. Lots of people; didn’t ever feel secluded. I could here traffic or people for a good portion. I liked the table rocks better because it feels a little more removed from society if you hit them early. This one had construction trucks going up and down, and lots of people even early in the morning. I appreciated the workout, but southern Oregon has better hikes and trails if you’re looking for a silent, secluded, breath taking experience.

Easy, but not well marked trail. May not be super friendly for very young kids as I had to climb over several rocky areas to see mill creek falls. Barr creek falls was a clear hike with very little rocks along the way. Avenue of the boulders was great.

An extraordinarily beautiful and rewarding hike. Not too difficult, but medium length. Make sure you’re acclimated!
Tough drive in, need four wheel drive and a resilient stomach

Very nice and diverse trail. Loads of wildflowers, butterflies, birds, excellent views. Lush green forest opens up to some mountain meadows, then drier open hillside showing wildfire effects from several years ago. Saw a baby black bear on the way up to the trailhead. All around well worth it and good for kids.

Did this my kids, my two year old walked most the way! View is fantastic! Recommend starting in the early morning. Took us a little over 3 hours.

Fantastic hike! One of the family's favorites. Beautiful meadows full of flowers and breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta at the top. Easy hike.

Diverse terrain. It starts in the forest and opens up. Lots of wildflowers late into the season. No grizzlies, but I did see a black bear a couple of years ago!

Fantastic hike with beautiful views. Easy to find. Summit trail is marked but then unmarked. We never knew if we actually reached the summit. Hiked this with two city-fide ten year olds. My only disappointment was the lack of real grizzlies to eat these boys and give me a moment of rural peace.

Hiked this trail a number of times. Gorgeous view! Sunrise was incredible. It’s a very doable, family friendly hike, but definitely a bit of a workout.

I would guess it's a better home ride than a hike.

We get just under 5.5 miles for the loop based on our GPS record. Always a lovely hike and the trail is in superb condition.

I've done this hike a couple of times, the last time being this spring on April 14th. Nice little hike and with some nice views. I'll post a few pix.

Easy to moderate trail in the spring and summertime. My pup loves it best.
