Spring 2017 Map

Some would call me an idiot for hiking alone, some would call me an idiot for hiking in the winter while pregnant (there’s ice on the hill especially); but sometimes a hiker’s gotta hike.
Beautiful day to be out and a great loop to get some exercise.

Such a great walk! Got stuck trying to do the Bruce loop with a dog but found our way around it :) On my list for the summer time!

It's okay for being located in the middle of a city. It's a good place to go if you like dogs or have a dog. To get inside the forest trail takes a little bit and is usually pretty busy.

It’s a decent moderate trail. Lots of little side trails to get lost exploring. I’ve one gone once. My rating might go up.

Easy trail, best done on a bike. Lots of great scenery and old buildings along the way.

From the very first time here I was hooked ... great trail with side spurts and very low traffic so it seams like your very own property ... one of my favourite trails in the Province ... ENJOY !

Walking trails, not hiking. Nice scenery.

The best thing about this place is the farm and the animals. Don't follow the trail on this app, use the guide when you get there because all the trails are actually separate. I like "getting away" when I go hiking, and everywhere in the park you can hear the traffic so it's not my fav place. nice hikes, some are wheelchair accessible.

Love this trail. Better used earlier if you want to avoid crowds. It’s our go-to to walk the dog.

Did the two west loops with my little guy, great fun hiking up and down, some quite steep but lots of laughs and views.

Amazing hike, so much to look at an explore! A little busier in some sections then I like but none the less beautiful. Also lots of barking dogs which can make the peace and quiet a little less quiet would go again for sure.

Come here weekly with my pup. Rarely run into anyone else on the trails. Very well maintained. The green loop can get muddy and flooded so just be mindful to avoid after heavy rain or in the spring.

Great trail for a short hike with my pup. We enjoy the steeper sections to tire him out. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the regular coyote sightings in the news in this park. Also, many dog owners walk their dogs off leash.

Kid-friendly. Some small inclines with a shallow slow-moving creek along several small loops.

Cute little trail with several little points of interest on route. Very cool old weapons storage barrack, gigantic kiln and lots of cute bridges and streams. Very icy though at points. Only saw one other couple. Saturday morning 8am.

Nice walk anytime

Several nice trails to explore. We will be back this winter to try out the skiing. There is an entrance fee if you don't have a pass.

It’s a nice walk! Beautiful scenery! The people passing by were very friendly too.

A great trail for an afternoon hike in nature. Close to 5th line road so you can hear a bit of traffic. Check out the limestone if the weather is good and dry - - there’s a ladder that leads to the bottom of the “caves” of limestones that crack out of the earth. Watch for roots!

Nice trails, beautiful clearing with a nice view. Very easy to get lost though(even with a map) as there a many little side trails everywhere.

I'll go with the dogs again.

Great views if you enjoy concrete drainage ditches.

Lots to explore. It's a short run but allow yourself time to navigate the rock narrows. Definitely slippery over the rocks and lots of roots to trip on. Take your time and pick up your feet.

Fun short hike with rocky terrain at the hole in the wall section. old kiln and ammunitions storage makes it interesting. I like the stone arch where you cross over the river.

A short trail for walking and running which is also close to town. There are a plenty of spots to park.
