Easy to get to. Great scenery. Less than an hour walk.

Perfect 2 hour hike with great views

I first did this 4 months ago and returned to check out this area with some snow cover. Unfortunately it was too warm and the trail was more mud than snow. Hike was still very nice. Solitude, peace and quiet, great forest and meadow make this stroll very pleasant.

Nice hike. Snow/slush on trail. Gorgeous views of snow covered trees.

One of my favorite places, it has a bit of everything. Enough miles of trails to spread people out helps even if the parking lot is full (which is all summer).
I would call this an easy hike as there really are no steep sections, and for the work you put in it's about as good a view as you can get around here.

The view from the top is nice. This is very easy hike if you just hike the Mineral Ridge Trail and very popular. For a longer hike, take the Wilson Trail which turns into the Lost Man Trail. When you arrive at the switchback on the forest service road, you can go to the right which takes you back down the Ridge. There's also many other trail options on the forest service road.

Easy hike to the top views. Absolutely beautiful. Saw an Eagle at the top.

Nice quick day hike. Go early to avoid crowds.

Close to town. Good views and easy parking.

Great hike. The trail had a good amount of people when I went and was in good condition. Pretty easy to follow. There is definitely some good gain most of the way, so you'll get a nice thigh/butt work out! I enjoyed walking on the ridge at the top to the opening at the end and being able to see the town and mountains all around you. You could definitely see the falls colors in the mountains scattered here and there.

Great hike. Views are spectacular

Great views up top and trail was well maintained.

We started at the south trail head for "Stevens Creek" off of Stevens Creek Road. This hike had a little bit of everything. Both steep and gradual climbs, great views, granite outcroppings and well maintained trails. The uploaded photos on this site give a pretty accurate account of the scenery. Very, very nice.

The trail was nice and the scenery beautiful. It was more difficult out than in. We did not like the trail ended in the forest canyon with no destination. The sign said dead end and they are not kidding!

Beautiful autumn foliage along the trail. The trail is in good shape. Signs of the previous fire everywhere. Nice view of Leavenworth on the top.
It's still quite hot in the afternoon when the sun is hitting directly. Not much shade.

A bit uphill but definitely worth it when you get to the top.

(10.6.18) We followed the GPS to a closed gate that we are assuming is closed do to logging in that area.

Loved this hike. Very beautiful. You start off with a slight incline switchback, not to far to climb. It all pays off once you come down to the most beautiful green forest. Lovely fall colors, lots of moss on the rocks and trees. From this point you have the stream along the path for dogs to cool down. This is a must do hike. Now I know why its rated 5star.

The trail is very well maintained. I don’t know that I would classify it as moderate, as most of the Trail is pretty flat. There is a very short portion where you’re walking up a decent grade, but it’s short. I went yesterday and the fall colors are stunning. The creek can be heard running throughout the whole hike.

Such a awesome view at the top! Over looking all of the Spokane Valley

Love this hike especially when you reach the top and have a beautiful view of CDA lake. There is also some history to read and share about the trail. I also liked that the trail markers were clearly visable throughout the hike and the trails .

Super Fun little hike. I live here and hike Mineral a ton! Never get tired of it
Lake views are awesome!

The fall colors really made this hike so lovely. Trail is easy to find and well maintained. Beautiful views of Leavenworth as you climb. Very enjoyable hike.

A bit challenging for me (but I’m out of shape!) beautiful views up top. Fall colors made it special. I would like to do this hike again next year when I’m back in town.

Very beautiful trail which gave me a little of everthing that I want in a hike. First part is moderately upward with a spectacular mountain view. After the descent is thick forest and streams that opened into a wide meadow with also a spectacular view of surrounding mountains. Then I entered into more forest and streams. Definately explore this hike but be sure to wear good shoes and dont go alone. I was leary about bears and cougars being it was such a remote location and was happy to have brought bear spray. Trail paths were in fairly good shape. Will return.

loved this hike! Well maintained and the creativity of using the rocks as seats was amazing to see.

Started from the Steven's Trailhead on the Rose of Sharon trail, which for someone out of shape wasn't the best because it was all an uphill climb & at times, rather steep. (wasnt aware of the rise in elavation). Definitely needs better trail markers.

Nice spot to stretch your legs after doing the scenic route around the lake.

Great fun hike. close to town. excellent sunset last night!

Really beautiful hike! Not super hard. My 3 year old went with me. Lots of wasps by the water so be aware of them.
