Have done this hike many times and enjoyed it each time! A very fun short hike with a wonderful view!

its a really nice trail for all ages with multiple ways to get there

Nice easy trail (little muddy in spots). Appreciated the suspension bridge and the waterfall.

Beautiful, moderately traveled trail with many switchbacks up the side of a hill. Spectacular views of the ocean and lots of wildflowers in the Spring. At the top is a parking lot with bathrooms and a shelter overlooking the ocean. Amanda Trail ends up at the same parking lot from the other direction.

Holy cow! What a beautiful hike. The suspension bridge was amazing! Falls were absolutely stunning!

Did the trail with 4 adults & 5 young kids. So fun. About an hour to there and and hour back. Beautiful perfect family outing. $5 day use parking fee. Don’t be fooled by long country road, this is a heavily used trail. Might want to come early so you can find parking.

The water fall was really pretty and the view from the suspension bridge But this place gets SUPER crowded after a certain time so try to go as EARLY as possible because it just gets annoying when the crowd piles up.

My first hike. I’m not in great shape and found this trail to be relatively easy. Beautiful, peaceful, and perfect weather. Wasn’t busy on the Monday afternoon we went.

great hike. best to go early before everyone shows up

easy trail, beautiful scenery, the suspension bridge and waterfall combo is cool as shit.

Enjoyed this simple hike to a lovely bridge overlooking the waterfall. I loved the green forest trail along the way as well. As a photographer, I got some great shots. Was wet and muddy but beautiful. Will be back.

Amazing trail

Awesome hike! Totally worth it!

Love this trail! Check it out sometime!

Beautiful! Love the waterfalls! Definitely recommend!

Great view of the falls but trail is closed when you get close. Looks like downed trees is the cause.

The trail winds through the forest. With an amazing view of the waterfall from the suspension bridge and then the trail ends with a nice view from the other side. There are some rock that will take you close to the waterfall as well.

Loved the view!

Great trail, winds through a beautiful part of the coastal forest. Trail is well marked and even though it was muddy it was a great time.

Nice trail. Liked the diversity of forest & beach, we added the out and back to the lighthouse.

This trail has a lot to it in its short mileage: The trail winds down from the trailhead through classic, coastal conifer forest. The largest challenge, for some, is the suspension footbridge spanning the canyon in which the Fall dumps into. Partner and I had a lot of fun with photos and movement on that wiggly bridge! The bridge does offer an atypical, elevated perspective of the Fall. Then the trail switchbacked down into the canyon to put hikers at the riverside. Hiked this one in December and it was wet but I have no regrets. That's Oregon for ya!

We went there yesterday it was a perfect day overcast but not raining. It’s a beautiful walk the whole way. Trail is maintained and it’s beautiful!

Fun. Family friendly. Beautiful. A nice stroll in the woods. Exceptionally busy.

We did this hike in the heights of the 2017 fire season. We drove over to Mapleton from Eugene because of the thick smoke layer in the Cascade range and lower Willamette valley. While the trail is a little busier than I prefer, it was a great hike and not too overly crowded.

Our friends brought their small dog, and others on the trail had theirs as well. There were no issues. The hike is honestly easy with no major climbs or obstructions. The stair stepped creek and falls were surpassed in natural splendor only by the surroundings.

Easy hike down, not so bad coming up.

What great views and I it was my first time seeing a tide pool and saw some pretty cool creatures!

Gorgeous look out. Not very muddy in the winter, pretty steep but not too long and a good workout. Beautiful old growth trees.

This trail is easy and is full of beautiful waterfalls the whole way. There's also a trail to head to Beaver Creek falls! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWtA9sK5zNg

Beautiful! Our favorite part of our Oregon coast trip. Even in the middle of winter it was colorful and alive. Very easy. Got a little crowded on the way out so go early. Easy for any age. Don't turn around before you get to the end! We almost missed the last waterfall because we weren't sure if we had already passed it. There are multiple cool areas and waterfalls along the trail.

Very easy trail that is heavily trafficked. Use caution in the road in as it’s very narrow with tight corners. Saw younger children using the trail with ease. beautiful view!!!
