Visiting Arizona from British Columbia, Canada. I found this trail captivating and unique to the usual terrain I usually run in.

This is an awesome trail with great views. Not a hard trail not easy either.. the low rating is due to the excessive flow of people heading to the falls!! A friend wanted to see the falls so went back with her but started at 6:30am and no one was there when we got there!!!

This was a very nice trail - easy to follow with great views. I hiked it with my dog, Zia. We encountered other people, both hiking and running, with and without dogs. Not difficult at all and I would definitely do it again.

I don't know if I misread the mile marks but for us it was longer than 9 miles and we didn't reach the end. We stopped at 4.5 miles as it was getting darker and turned back. I was expecting the trail end at 3.8 miles based on the total of 7.9 miles. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful hike. It was like walking through a slightly elevated landscape garden. I just love the saguaros!

Did this hike with family while visiting my sister the day before Thanksgiving. There was not as much water flowing at the falls this year compared to last year when we did this hike, but it’s still beautiful. A few water crossings, but we didn’t even get our feet wet this year.

Hiked it before Thanksgiving. Was a great hike and loved the falls. I highly recommend this trail

Some of the trail is hard to track. Using Trail app will keep you straight. Hikers have marked some off tougher stuff too. Also watch for gopher/snake holes...twist ankle if not careful.

It was a beautiful hike and a lot of fun. Definitely worth the time, and every portion of the hike offers new views and things to see. However, it was poorly marked. We ended up getting 100 feet away from the trail and into the ravine, so we had to scale the side to get back to the trail. If you come across large boulders, I would consider that it might not be a part of the intended path.

best trail run ever!

great hike for the gluts. no shade. take plenty of water if hiking in the summer.

It was a beautiful hike and worth the struggle. There are a lot of loose rocks and boulders on the terrain, which upped the difficulty. There are several routes you can take, and they all lead to the same place, so there is no way of getting lost.

Really stunning trail that follows the creek up the canyon. Wonderful view points as it curves up the head of the canyon. Great picnic spot on the smooth water washed rocks at the midpoint of the falls at the top. Easy hike. Walking poles nice to have at the top.

The A Loop is straight up in short distance

Has anyone seen fossils on your hike on the peak?

I heard there were fossils. If you did can you share were you found some

Amazing views. Well worth the hike. Tough rocky terrain at times. Great hike

Fairly easy trail (if you're good on distance) and enjoyable hike with stunning destination. For those who wish to be more challenged, plenty of opportunities to navigate up the falls (though use caution, particularly when wet), while the rest of your party relaxes down below.

Amazing views. For people with kids - the first half of the paved trail is a little rough for strollers and a few steep spots are really tough pushing a stroller. Otherwise it’s a great hike!

not a good trail for just starting after long time no hike (learned the hard way), but its awesome training for elevation gain!!! also the views are amazing

This trail has a variety of interesting vistas and interweaves along the creek bed, which when water levels are on the higher side, creates some fun little creek crossings. The pay off on this hike comes when you reach 7 falls (provided there is water at the falls). The falls are not visually impressive, but make a very chill setting. This is a great hike for hikers of a range of skill levels.

Beautiful! Hiked the trail a few days after a heavy rain and sound of running water was everywhere. Waterfalls were gorgeous. Moderate trail not well marked, but very enjoyable.

Dogs not allowed on this trail.

I love this trail, the best on my visit here! I had heard about it from someone I met on another trail and he gave me directions to turn at the dumpsters but no name for the trail. I found this trail on the app and compared the directions and knew it was where he was talking about! It was absolutely beautiful, a little difficult at times and had I not ran into three people who were headed on the trail just as I arrived I most likely would not have done it alone. Eventually we all ended up hiking together and it was totally amazing and I made new friends! We went round a couple of loops and hiked across the canyon to some caves which extended our hike, and according to my maps it ended up being around 7 1/2 miles.

Nice moderate hike up to the top of the hill. Paved the entire way. Good views at the top. Shouldn’t take more than an hour if you’re in good shape.

It's not easy. But it is totally worth it.

I hiked this trail with my husband back in January when I was 38 weeks pregnant (my ambitious idea, not his) and loved it! It was a rewarding challenge with incredible views the entire way. The falls were dry at that time of the year, but it was still well worth it to get to the end. Lots of people were out, but everyone we passed was very encouraging along the way.
